🎬✨ DVMISSION 2024 - The Great Pompey Heist Wrap-Up! 🌟
This year, DVMISSION celebrated its 19th edition with a bang, bringing together 31 teams for a thrilling 48-hour film challenge. From the heart of the UK to as far as Macedonia and Australia, filmmakers showcased their creativity in crafting 2-minute heist movies titled "The Pompey Town Affair."
🍌 Highlight of the year? Films had to cleverly include "a banana for scale" alongside a mandatory line of dialogue, pushing our filmmakers' creativity to new heights.
The gala event, The Great Pompey Heist, was a spectacle of black-tie elegance and cinematic brilliance, featuring immersive entertainment by the talented University of Portsmouth community. 🎥🎉

The Great Popmey Heist - DVMISSION 2024
You're cordially invited to the most glamorous event of the year: The Great Pompey Heist.
The stage is set in Portsmouth for an evening where the line between audience and story blurs. Step into a world of intrigue and elegance at an exclusive contemporary art auction presented by Raspberry’s Auction House. This will be your opportunity to bid for some stunning art which can be viewed in our catalogue available on the evening.
Please note that there will be additional security checks on entry to this special auction.
Dress in your most glamorous attire, adorn yourself with your finest jewels, and join us for an evening where fantasy and reality blur.
Dress code black tie, glamourous attire, and best jewellery.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The DVMISSION show team will take you on a journey into this year’s storyworld where you will meet crazy characters, watch short films made especially for the night and be entertained by troupe of immersive performers.
Meet all the teams, watch the films, pick up an award at the glitzy award ceremony and blow off some steam at the infamous after-party. It has been described as “the Sex Pistols meets the Oscars” and “it’s better than Christmas”.
