So I have some personal news………. Some people know already but unfortunately next Saturday (8th April) will be my last gig at Slug & Lettuce Portsmouth as I am going to go DJ abroad for the summer of 2023 in Ayia Napa. Having started there in October 2019, I can’t thank Hayley and the team at Slug enough for the support and the commitment and for allowing me to have my own Friday and Saturday night residency and to grow and develop as a dj. It’s weird because you sometimes visit venues and just feel like a third party contractor (which technically I am) but not here, I was treated like one of the slug family from day one and I will always be grateful for that from the staff who have worked there past and present. I know I have made friends for life and I am so incredibly grateful for that and the memories made, both whilst at work and socially. But as the saying goes, “all good things must come to an end” so looking to go out with a bang this coming Saturday for Easter weekend before starting this exciting opportunity abroad. Open invitation for anyone who wants to pop in next Saturday evening to gunwharf and to come say hi (or bye I guess haha), and hopefully end on a good one. See you all soon. X
