A New Year Note in Remembrance.As I step into this New Year, my heart feels heavy knowing that my father, Sir NAREN SHARMA, is no longer with us. His passing on the 27th of December 2024 has left a void that can never be filled, but his life and contributions remain a guiding light for me and countless others.My father was more than just a parent—he was a visionary whose work touched the lives of so many. His efforts were never limited to his personal success; he lived for the betterment of society. Through his creative work, leadership, and selfless actions, he became a pillar of our community, inspiring change and progress.His contributions weren’t just significant—they were transformative. He worked tirelessly to create opportunities for others, foster unity, and celebrate our shared culture. His ideas and initiatives didn’t just benefit individuals; they uplifted the entire community, leaving an impact that will be felt for generations.For me, this New Year isn’t just about personal resolutions—it’s about carrying forward the legacy he built. It’s about understanding the depth of his contributions and ensuring that his vision continues to inspire and bring change. A Note in Remembrance
Still in disbelief at what God has taken from us. The void left by my father Sir NAREN SHARMA is immeasurable, but I feel a deep responsibility to honor his legacy and share his extraordinary journey with the world. His life was a beacon of inspiration, and through his work, he touched countless lives in profound ways.

My father was a man of boundless vision, a pioneer in the truest sense. His contributions to society through his creative endeavors, social work, and literary brilliance have left an indelible mark on North Lakhimpur and beyond.

He believed in uplifting the community and worked tirelessly for the welfare of society. Whether it was organizing events that fostered unity or supporting those in need, his actions always spoke of his selflessness and dedication.

A stalwart in the art and culture industry, he championed creativity and innovation. He was not just an organizer but also a visionary who nurtured and celebrated talent, bringing people together through the power of art and music.

His writings were a reflection of his deep understanding of society's needs and aspirations. They were not just words but a call to action for change, awareness, and progress. His ability to use literature as a tool for societal upliftment is a legacy that will inspire generations.

He was always the first to dare, the first to dream big, and the first to act. Among his pioneering accomplishments:

Organizing multiple landmark events in North Lakhimpur.Opening the district's first three-star restaurant, creating a space of luxury and community.
Organizing the largest Grantha Mela (Book Fair) in Lakhimpur, fostering a love for literature and learning.
Hosting one of the biggest musical concerts, inviting the legendary Anuradha Paudwal, and bringing the icon Bhupen Hazarika to North Lakhimpur for the first time.Launching 10 books at one event, an achievement rare even across Assam.
My father’s life was an extraordinary journey of love, dedication, and innovation. As I continue to share his story, I hope it inspires others to dream bigger, work harder, and always give back to society. His legacy will forever remain alive in the hearts of those he touched, and his vision will continue to guide us.

What I have shared so far is just a glimpse of my father’s immense contributions. His life and work encompass so much more, and I will continue to honor and share his legacy through my future posts. Each story, achievement, and memory will serve as a testament to the incredible life he lived and the impact he left behind.

Now, the only way I can stay closest to him is by spreading his work and keeping his legacy alive. He was, and will always be, the essence of my being—my heartbeat. With his physical presence gone, it feels as though my heartbeat has stopped. But for my baby, I must keep it going.
This journey of carrying forward his vision will not only help me stay connected to him but also inspire others to live with purpose, passion, and dedication, just as he did. Through his legacy, I find the strength to move forward—for him, for myself, and for my baby and my family 🙏🏻

It is with a heavy heart and profound sorrow that I share the loss of my beloved father Sir NAREN SHARMA 27.12.2024, a true pillar of strength, wisdom, and compassion. Today, the world lost a remarkable social worker, writer, and professor whose dedication to uplifting society was unparalleled. His ideas, ideologies, and immense contributions touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of crossing his path.

As a father, he was a guiding light, and as a social worker, his commitment to bettering the community knew no bounds. His words, through the many books he wrote, will continue to inspire and guide generations. His legacy is not just in the pages of his writing, but in the lives he changed, the minds he enlightened, and the hearts he touched.

On February 5, 2024, he achieved a rare and remarkable feat—publishing 10 books in one go, a milestone that will forever be etched in the history of Assam. His dedication to knowledge and education was unmatched, and he lived every day with the sole purpose of serving the society that he loved so deeply. In an era where few are willing to devote themselves wholly to the welfare of others, my father gave his life, his wisdom, and his heart to the cause.

As his daughter, it is with a profound sense of loss that I inform all his well-wishers and admirers of his passing. We have lost not just a father, but a beacon of light, a mentor, and a true gem. His absence will be deeply felt, but his spirit, his work, and his contributions will continue to resonate through time.

We will miss his words, his teachings, and his presence. But we will carry forward the lessons he taught us and the love he gave us. Rest in peace, Deuta🙏🏻. You will forever live in our hearts, and your legacy will continue to inspire us every day.

Gardening has always been one of my passions—there’s something so magical about flowers, and I adore growing vegetables in my own kitchen garden. Even though my gardening knowledge is limited, I’m learning more every day.I find joy in nurturing my small garden of flowers and vegetables, and I even talk to the plants! Staying connected with nature has been incredibly grounding for me.
