Campus Update!

A recent survey recognised that students have had trouble finding our buildings around the city - especially on a Monday morning. To make this easier we’ve put plans in place to paint all of our buildings purple to make them more identifiable.

We’ll start painting during the Easter holidays, ready for when students return. For more information about the project, you can read the article below!

April Fools! Although surprisingly a lot of you seemed on board with painting Portsmouth purple - we've put it in the employee suggestion box 🤣

Our Story

Like our CCI TV page to be kept up-to-date on news and events.

Our mission is to broadcast quality University of Portsmouth video content by the means of television. www.ccichannel.port.ac.uk Quality Live University TV Programmes!

CCI TV is a television station and streaming platform found within the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI) Eldon Building, and much of the operation of this channel is the responsibility of staff and students of the course BSc (Hons) Television and Broadcasting. Although CCI TV operates under the banner of Higher Education, it is no different than any other broadcaster, and we actively seek collaboration with other university courses and the local community. CCI TV operates a strict broadcasting code, and we take the responsibility of acknowledging copyright law very seriously. We also strive to broadcast and schedule acceptable TV content at an hour that most would agree suitable. The TV Channel thrives on enthusiasm, a desire to inform and entertain, and we sincerely wish to collaborate with anybody that would like to get involved. Our aims are straightforward and simple; we want to broadcast student and staff work, collaborate with the local community, and we want to contribute to an exciting student experience.
