The brilliant Bev at Chequers is constantly working hard to keep a community together but sadly prices keep rising and rising. She's had a wonderful idea for you to keep your kids busy these school holidays including quizzes, bingo, treats, cheap scran, prizes and even a bouncy castle.

If you're stuck for somewhere to take the kids why not go support your local - Thursdays & Saturdays 2.30pm-5pm.

Even around these hours children are welcome and can play on the premises own playground! Let's not see another public house run to the ground, stick together and support your local 🤍

Sometimes a client leaves everything to me which of course I absolutely love, but sometimes a client can picture exactly what they want and Catherine knew exactly what she wanted and was never scared to speak up if something didn't quite match the vision she had in her mind.

When designing for someone else there are multiple things we have to think about.

I like to ask questions about the style you want to go for, the colour scheme etc, and I always work around the logo we will be using - whether I've created that for you or if you've provided your own.

I use different shapes, fonts and techniques all while sticking to the theme you've requested. You then get to choose different elements from each piece that you'd like to see put together before we settle on your final piece.

Gift cards and loyalty cards are extremely popular among small businesses right now and I enjoy putting these together for you.

Sometimes a small business is already prepared with their own logo before they come to me for added extras and that's absolutely fine.

Even if I'm not given the best format to work with I can still find a way to incorporate your logo into my designs. Today I've created some loyalty cards for JL Tanning.
The first is what she's chosen to go with (great choice - also my favourite) but here are examples of how we could use her logo in different ways 🧡🖤🤍

My friend allowed me to play about with her logo for the business she is starting.

I've always thought Aurora Rose was a beautiful name and I wanted to capture the beauty I saw in it - So I brought together the stunning light visuals that you can get from the Aurora Borealis along with clean fonts and a fully blossomed rose and this is what we got.

The logo itself is quite stunning but the watermark really is something else 🩷
