Working ghostbusters slime scoop.
3d printed
Also, worst jump edit in the world. But you get the idea ;p
While the paint dries on the 8 PKEs I've got on my workbench, I was working on finishing this beauty up. Arduino coding done. Just need to finish the assembly
Final lighting and sound test for my latest pack build. I finally figured out a way to do the over heat feature. I admit it's not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out ^_^
Finally got a blade printed for my lightsabre ^_^
The design has been finalised, the price has been negotiated lol.
These will come with metal side plate upgrades as well as real metal foster connectors as standard. The majority of the rest will be 3d printed.
I have 2 versions that I'm going to be making available.
The first will be a full build, including pedal and detachable hose.
The second, just the trap to sync to an already acquired pedal. For those that have one of my traps already there is an easy to sync wireless chip that can then make these work with the old pedal
I know a lot of you will want the full build in addition to previous trap, but I thought it would be a nice option and will give a bit of a saving having to not buy the pedal again.
They're not on my website yet but they will be soon. In the mean time I am however doing an offer and I'm giving a 10% saving to the first 5 people that want one.

Test print is finished ^_^
There's only a couple of parts that need to fix in order for the mechanism to work correctly (it doesn't quite fully open or close at the minute)
It's currently got what I like to call a demo mode. Turn it on and after a few seconds it'll play the normal opening sequence, pause for a few seconds then automatically do the close sequence. The final product will have these functions operated at the push of the pedal as you would expect. But the overall trap I'm very pleased with.
Testing the slide and catch mechanism. Send to work pretty well
Test print VERY successful. There's a few parts I need to reprint.
The top actually warped from the bed do that's need redoing but it works I need to reprint the rear box to better aligned parts.
But other than that there really wasn't much that needed changing during assembly so I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
I have been using slightly different plans that make the trap out to be slightly longer. But I figure if I'm going for a slightly more accurate representation I may as well go more of an accurate size
This came out looking rather nice ^_^
I think I'm pretty much done. A few minor tweaks and I need to get the connector for the back of the cartridge to plug into so i can design the insetfor it. But I'm happy with how it looks now ^_^
Had to rework the afterlife pke a little bit. Slightly different animation sequence. But I got it figured out in the end ^_^
Well that worked better than anticipated lol
Just a little glow in the dark paint giving it an errie glow ;)
I have been working on my force powers and I seem to have gone to yoda like abilities. Working on one of my traps it seems I only need to wave my hand and it sets off the wireless trigger. -_-
A little weathering to do but this one is done. New code is working rather nicely too. I've reduced the amount of time the smoke is on for. It gives it just enough. So it's less likely turn burn out plus it will mean less times to refill. Very happy with it now
I get asked all the time about having the smoke in my traps come on when the doors are closed. So it's more like in the movie. I mean why would it smoke at the beginning. And it always bugged me. I had reasons for why I did it that way. Electrically is not good to have vapour in a closed space. But then I thought the rattling doors at the end SHOULD give it enough space to escape. So.... here it is. The test of the new and improved trap(minusthe sound at the moment). And it is beautiful. I'll have another video up soon with it fully assembled but for now here's what I got..... and yes it should be able to be coded to most if not all my previous traps (I don't think I've changed the design electrically much over the years)
The frustrating behind the scenes of when builds go wrong. 2 days wasted and I still don't know what's wrong. Times that by the 20+ orders I have and you can see how easily things can get delayed a LOT
Something interesting. I FINALLY got to work on my own version of the egon plate on the back of my proton packs. The battery level indicator was causing me issues. But I seem to have cracked it now. For those of you that have an OG pack on order with me (I am ALMOST finished them please be patient) these will be going on them as well as standard on all future proton pack builds
And the effect once lit up. It didn't look quite as cool in real life. The video frame rates are making it pulse like it is but It still looks pretty neat
Ghostbusters Afterlife tripod
Haven't had much time to refine this (or add the sound board) but it's a nice table prop for sure
