So far, 2025 has been a 'hit the ground running' kinda year!

I started the year strong with my clients, most of whom I have been working with for almost 2 years 🎉

The ever changing social sphere has done lots dirty with the new grid thumbnail size change.. that other social network went dark in the 🇺🇸

Insta will be rolling out a new video creation app called 'Edits', which I am super excited about!

There are soooo many exciting things happening this year that I can't wait to implement with my clients.

On a personal note, for those of you who don't know, I also write creatively. Myself and my co-writer completed our first joint script together last year, and I am starting my solo script this month! So I am working hard in silence 🙌🏼

I'm not a prolific poster on my business socials because I am not a SM influencer. I keep my head down and work on everyone else's socials as that is what I'm paid to do 😊

But rest assured, I am still here, answering messages, keeping tabs on the latest trends 👀🙌🏼

How important is your business this Christmas?

The 5 mins you're about to spend scrolling.. use it wisely!

Engagement on social media is a key part to you being seen by your current and a potentially NEW audience.

Spend the next 5 mins commenting on your followers' Christmas pics, even a simple 'Merry Christmas to you' comment helps!

It's an easy time to make a difference. Don't over complicate it, but do go get it 🙌🏼

I see so many people pushing their products and going for the sell on their socials.

Don't push so hard that you push potential buyers away!

The best bit of advice I can give..

Connect with your audience/buyers on a deeper level. Get into their heads. Having an emotional connection can lead to sales and return customers.

Think about these:

How is it going to make them feel
What does it offer
Why should they buy it
Who is it for

Try including the answer to these next time you are pushing your product and let me know the results ✨️

Engage with your current followers and get yourself out there and make new connections. It all helps to get you, your business or brand out there!

It doesn't matter if you have the most eye-catching posts and 20k+ followers if you're not engaging with them. You will notice it will be the same small percentage of people commenting/liking.
