The new term has started and we are back with our Discover Dance Classes.

We currently have a couple of places left for our Parent and Toddler/Preschool class. (18 months- 4 yr olds) This runs twice a month with dates given in advance.

Once class numbers are full, we do have a waiting list and will contact people if and when a space comes available.

What a wonderful final class we’ve had at Creative Cuppa. A fun packed morning with brining us so many ways to move out body and use our brains. All with a Christmas theme to get us all in the festive mode.

Our session was followed by a beautiful buffet lunch made up of food brought along from everyone. A real community buffet, with lots of laughter and good cheer.

A huge thank you to for supporting this pilot initiative of which will be running at Pinvin Memorial Hall until Feb 2025.

Thank you so much to all of the creative facilitators who have worked on the project so far; you have made a huge difference to all those who attend.

We look forward to seeing you all again in the New Year.

Today we have the fabulous Fiona Lock with us. Fiona set up after realising the benefits that creativity had on her own mental health. Now she works with businesses and individuals to discover their ‘inner toddler’ through creative play, and how this can support mental health. She explores topics of purpose, values and culture and use creativity to bring it to life.

We are excited to be working with Fiona as she brings a sprinkle of Christmas to our classes with a fabulous personalised bauble workshop.

There will be Christmas tunes and mince pies folks!!!

So our local Whychavon winter magazine has arrived. Inside is a feature of all the local community legacy grants including that of the upgrade to Pinvin Memorial Hall where a number of our community projects are run from.
Fabulous to see one of our young community performers with our local councillor when the funding news was announced.

The Creative Cuppa participants have had a fabulous morning with Laura from over 55s dance fit.

What started as a seated session, turned into standing, line dancing routines and finally rock and roll!!

Lots of laughter and singing along to wonderful classic tracks. Again a wonderful atmosphere with a fabulous group of people which is ever growing.

We are only 10 days away from the start of our new classes 'Creative Cuppa' at Pinvin Memorial Hall, fully supported by Worcestershire County Council

Every Thursday 10:00- 12:00pm, we will be delivering weekly Creative sessions for the over 55's.

A 1 hour creative session from various activities such as arts/crafts, singing for wellbeing, movement, pilates and dance.
After each session there will be 45 mins for social time, a chance to meet new people; refreshments will also be provided.
Cost £1.50 per session.
We will be delivering these sessions from 10th October 2024 until February 2025, so a perfect chance to fully immerse yourself into new creative skills, a warm space and a new community.

Calling all parents and toddlers, come along, move with us and get creative!

Our Discover Dance classes run twice a month from Pinvin Village Memorial Hall.
The classes allow you as parents/carers to take part in a class with your little ones. Aimed at 18 months- preschool age 4.

Our classes will allow you and your little ones to learn basic dance techniques, explore movement, get creative and discover dance together. Classes will be starting back on Sunday 8th September 2024.

Cost: £18.00 for all 4 classes or £5.00 per class.

Fantastic workshop from today!

Brining fresh food and creativity to all the children involved in our Play in parks scheme at Stockfield Park. Thanks to and
Working in partnership with and stockfield community association.

The children enjoyed trying new vegetables, learning chopping skills, experimenting with flavours and sauces to add to their salad shakers.

A fantastic addition to the days activities 👍🏼🥒🥔🌶🌽🥕

An amazing two weeks had by all. Yes again another successful summer programme working with Martineau Gardens and The Scrapstore Birmingham thank you for having us and all the artists involved.

We had a fantastic two weeks running our playscheme again this summer, as part of the HAF summer scheme. We collaborated with Birmingham PlayCare Network to provide lots of fun including nature activities, arts and crafts and sports and games.

Thank you to all the amazing support from The Scrapstore Birmingham, Social Farms & Gardens, the Hilden Charitable Fund, Bring it on Brum, ChangeKitchen CIC, Chapter., Asda Foundation, Rubix Arts and Wellbeing C.I.C and The Edgbaston Priory Club.

Check out the amazing animation made by Mixed Milk. We simply love working

A fabulous end to our final Discover Dance session for this term.

A teddy bears picnic themed dance class, followed by everyone embarking on a picnic in the park.

Encompassing everything we aim to deliver to our classes and projects.
