Hello, I am Bunty, and I am one of the zine librarians at the lovely fish factory. I am currently cracking on my MA in Illustration (Authorial Practice) at Falmouth Uni.

I became interested in zines when I first heard and made one of mine about a year ago. My aim to volunteer for this role is very simple, getting to know as much as I can about the zine culture which is not so popular where I come from. I love the concept of DIY and self-publishing, rejecting all forms of censorship and control. I am trying to create my own zines and hopefully will be contributing some of mine to the amazingly diverse collection at .

I come from an Interior Architecture background and am particularly interested in building with natural materials. I have been drawing regularly since 2016 and it has become quintessential to my existence. I have conducted various workshops with the objective of engaging people (specially "non-artists") with this beautiful expression available to them because I believe that
'everyone is an artist
everyone is creative
and anyone can draw'

You can follow me on -

Until then,
Cheers!

Hey, from me… I’m Hannah one of the zine librarians at Cornwall Zine Library. I’m keen on the sea, vegan food, punk and ancient stone bothering, as well as zines of course.

Zines are great and I can thank them, and their authors, for introducing me to new ideas and new ways of thinking, as well as awesome bands and recipes.

I think zine culture is probably more important than ever right now for fostering community, creating inspiration and allowing ideas to flow so I’m super stoked to be volunteering for CZL.

Luckily I also love a good spreadsheet and am going to very much enjoy continuing to catalogue and organise the zines with my co-librarians!

We live inside Fish Factory Arts] and are available for anyone to visit while the Fish Factory is open.

At the moment the Fish is running a crowdfunder to help raise much needed funds for workshops, exhibitions, free food events and the boring stuff like paying bills.

There's just a week left to hit the target of £5000- if this target is met it will unlock match funding which will mean the Fish can do much more of the good stuff.

If you are able to pledge £££ please do- if you can't then please consider sharing the link and encouraging others:
