Solar Panels connected to the internet 50ft across the yard!!!
'Go Low Carbon' contacted us for help, they wanted an internet connection for the Solar Panels they had recently installed at T G Norman Sawmills near Longtown. We installed a 'point to point' Ubiquiti system to do exactly that, beaming the signal from the Offices to the Sawmill. Having the Solar Panels connected to the internet gives real time data and performance figures to hand.

Nunwick Cottage near Great Salkeld needed a new aerial, 1 problem.......... it was too high to reach with ladders & taking down the whole aerial mast structure might of meant having to replace everything. Bring in the backup!! A 50ft Cherry Picker we hired.

'BEAUTIFUL BUTTERMERE"!! After a site survey and discussions about how to maximise the potential of Starlink at Hassness Country House, within 15 minutes of the Dish being installed the customer had 200mbps compared to the landline broadband of just 6mbps. Not only have we improved their internet experience we extended it throughout the hotel so it can be used everywhere!!

Penrith Fire Station was our next 'call out'! After having no working TV points throughout the station training rooms and recreation areas we were called out to investigate. Establishing the aerial to be cause of the problem, the stations maintenance team arranged for a cherry picker to be onsite for when we returned!! "I can see the pub from here"!!

"Get your Peleton bike connected too"!! A customer enquired to see if we could improve the wifi signal in his garage so he could experience the full potential of his Peleton exercise bike, we went round and discovered it was in his detached garage. We suggested a Ruijie point to point system with an Access Point in the garage to offer fantastic speeds.

Emergency Call Out last week Hidden River Cabins, one of the Starlink Satellite Internet systems had gone down leaving guests without internet and the owner without working card machines and a huge wedding in just 12 hours. Once we found the problem it was up and running in no time.

A few days later and we were back to install a wifi access point to provide Internet for the new EV Charger recently installed in the sites Wedding Barn car park.

211mbps in Nenthead, who'd of thought!!! Starlink installed earlier this week for a customer. A nice simply, straightforward and tidy install with great results after only 15mins of being plugged in.

Some of the most recent Starlink Installations we've Installed (because i'm too busy and forget to take pictures of them all) Remote locations & homes with 'proper' walls!! Kelleth Old Hall B&B (near Tebay) were using an old satellite broadband dish to get 2mbps on a good day. So out with the old & in with the new and a staggering 220mbps off the bat!!!
