Today sees the release of the much anticipated 'Harbour to Harbour' album by Newquay Rowing Club Singers. Recorded on location at Colan Church just outside of Newquay the album features 19 tracks including From Our Celtic Land, Baby Train, Islands of Scilly, One More Pull and Hail to the Homeland.

The choir will be donating all proceeds from album sales to Children's Hospice South West. The song “Precious Lives” was originally a poem written by Bob Richards who was inspired to write it, having participated in a sponsored cycle race for Little Harbour; it was later put in to words by local singer Larry McLaughlin.

ICON Audio recently had the pleasure of working with Truro based choir Kesson Tus . Their new album 'Harmonious Men' was recorded on location and contains everything from popular contemporary right through to Cornish folk & shanties.

The choir opted for a hybrid package giving them a selection of CDs and digital download cards (pictured). This will allow the choir to cater for their existing customer base as well as the ever growing digital market.

Today sees the release of 'Grenfell From Today', a charity single that was recorded on location at Truro Cathedral by ICON Audio. The single is inspired by local charity Cornwall Hugs Grenfell which offers respite in Cornwall to the victims of the Grenfell fire. Performed by the exceptional Truro Cathedral Choristers, the single is released today under exclusive license to Universal Music and all proceeds from the digital sales will go directly to the charity.
