In Spain families have dinner together on the 5th and leave food and drink (perhaps wine and turrón) for the Magi🍷 🍫, also water for their camels 🐫 💧. Children go to bed and the morning after… the presents have arrived 🎁!
And you… do you get your presents from Father Christmas or the Magi? And which food and drink do you leave the night before?

The Oxford Brookes Babylab is open and we're looking for some little scientists to come help out with our research!

Have you ever wondered how bilingual and trilingual babies manage to learn two or more languages at the same time? We are currently running a study to find out and we're looking for parents of 20-to-26-month-old bilingual and trilingual toddlers to come to the babylab in Oxford and take part! If you would like to find out more, please contact us: [email protected] or 01865 483 676 or sign up to our database on our website: https://babylab.brookes.ac.uk/register-your-child

If your child hears two or more languages but they are between 7 to 20 months or 26 to 36 months, you can take part in our online study instead! This study involves you as a parent/guardian completing three short games with your child and an online questionnaire about your child's language environment and their behaviour. Andrea is an Italian artist who has expressed himself better through images than words since childhood. He graduated with honours in Artistic Heritage at the University of Padua. To create his fantastic worlds this artist always finds inspiration in the art and culture that surrounds a particular story📚

💭”Since I was very little, I enjoyed telling stories. My parents told me that when I was three, I used to tell stories about princesses, witches, and enchanted castles and asked them to write the words next to my drawings. At school, teachers asked me if I wanted to be a writer because I created lots of stories and poems."
