Two good regional results - Zodie and Samantha 4th with just over 70% at Onley Ground, and now the new combination of Katie and Paris came 14th in a hot elementary freestyle at Wellington regional - well done!!

I was delighted to hear from Katie that she and Sarah Hawkins' Parisienne had won their elementary freestyle at Windmill Farm on 72.88% - this with their reworked music for their new floorplan, using the same tracks. A lovely comment from the judge: 'Great phraseology and super music.' !!

So Addington are now asking for downloaded music, not CDs or memory sticks. I wonder what other venues will be doing this year? And what format they will want? Hopefully mp3 as small enough files to attach to an email, though 'lossy'!

I've just heard that Samantha and Zodie came 4th in their novice silver regional at Onley Ground with a score of 70.09! Lovely result! So pleased for them!

Lovely to hear from Samantha Black today that she and Zodie won their first freestyle with her new music - 73.56% - a great score! And I was pleased to learn that the judges still like the wonderful old music of Beach Boys and Neil Diamond, giving her an 8 for music.

And Sarah Hawkins told me recently that her mare, Parisienne, now ridden by Katie Rzepka, has been doing very well with music I made for Katie's previous horse, several years ago, to girl band music. Well done to all of you!

If you haven't yet, do watch Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale's absolutely breathtaking World Championship freestyle! The most exciting to watch since Edward Gal and Totilas, in my opinion. And lovely that Queen's music starts the show so powerfully!

Congratulations to Beli Kilroy and Mary Star - winners of the Intermediate Freestyle at the Pony Club Championships yesterday with 76.11%, then runners-up in the ride-off between first and second in the three championships. Music by Beltyne Music for Freestyle, trained by my daughter Tiggi, dressage trainer for South Oxon Central Pony Club.

Sadly, Tamsin didn't get to use her freestyle music at the World Championships, but I'm sure she had a great time and the Irish team came 9th - a very good result!
