Last night we had the immense pleasure of witnessing a band we have come to love and adore over the last 18 months, not only play the best set we have ever seen from them, but also to come out on top as Metal 2 the Masses - Oxford Grand Final Winners 🤘🏻

Ocean Planet, THEORIST and Terraborn, all three of you performed magnificently, and it is a shame that only one band can go through. Hold your heads high and be proud of what you brought to that stage last night. We truly hope that we have not heard the last from you and we get to see you come back next year 🖤

Ocean Planet going through after taking the crowd Vote, which in itself was impressive due to the extreme numbers on the night

And yet again making the final for the second year running is of course Stone Soup who managed to impress the judges once more and gaining their vote

On tonight's show from 8pm, we will be chatting to the last two bands to take victory in this year's quarterfinals, and what an absolute night that was 🤘🏻

Dead Man's Pistol took the Crowd Vote by an absolute landslide, after being the opening act of the night 😱

Second Hour received a unanimous Judges Vote, which was well deserved with their greatest performance that we have seen to date 🥰

Despite their victory, it was also a shame to have to say goodbye to not one, but two amazing bands from Saturday night. Metal 2 the Masses - Oxford can be tough and grueling, and we wish them and all the other bands we have come to love but lose so far a big thankyou for their efforts this year. Don't give up on your hopes and dreams, keep that determination strong, and who knows... We may see you again in the very near future.

The semis are literally just around the corner, but it certainly won't get any easier, especially with the calibre of talent going through.

Grand final, the might Confessions Of A Traitor will be heading back to Oxford once again to headline the grand final for us this year! These guys always go down a treat and this is a not to be missed show! Last year we sold out the final, this year will be no exception.
