…Well, we bring you 'The People’s Carnival’

Taking carnival back to its roots with live graffiti, a banging sound system with Reggae, Roots, Dub, Hip Hop, House, DNB from a selection of DJ's. As well as live music, Jamaican food, art.

Join our full day takeover @ James St. Tavern. 12:00pm - 7:00pm

Followed by 'Paper Jam'; a night of music and art, with free art supplies and a selection of DJ's 7:00pm - 11:00pm

We are reaching out to local businesses, trades people and people willing to give us a hand!

Our youth project supports young people in Oxford who face a range of adversities from mental ill-health, isolation, anxiety and depression.

We are looking for help to renovate our small studio and youth space in Jericho. We need help with painting, carpentry, electrics, furnishings and creative solutions to help utilise our small space the best we can.

You’ve seen the pics, watched the movie... now hear the music!

Inner Peace Records proudly present to you; "Glass Cages", the first single from the Digging Crates EP which will be released at a funky ass event in Oxford next Saturday 11th June.

We heard there’s some sort of going on this weekend but to be honest, we’ve been too busy working on this to notice. We managed to get it ready for you just in time so you've got a chance to learn the words before the gig, we hope we aren’t interrupting anything...

Just 9 days to go until the team launch the EP which has been in the works since Rawz, Reejai Music, King Boyden, Call.Me.Tiece, and Tiger spent four days making music in the exploring and sampling the instrument collection alongside a team of African musicians which included Tang’s famous dad Boni Wanda.

On June 11th at .gallery the team will be performing the whole EP in it’s entirety for the first time ever, supported by Boni and his band WANDA-NA-KL, the night will also include a special spoken word set from Rawz accompanied by Mbira player Miles Ncube.

This is set to be a evening not to be missed, you can still get your tickets from the website or but hurry, because they are going pretty darn quick!

Incredible experience recording at Sugar Rays Vintage Recording Studio in Essex!

Dean is an incredibly knowledgeable, helpful engineer and helped us create something that has, as far as we know, NEVER been done before - Recording a Hip Hop track, using only original equipment that was in the 1950's.

The sound is nothing we have heard before, an Inner Peace Records style track, that sounds like it's been buried since 1950 and has only just resurfaced.

We cant wait for you to hear about the exciting project that this was created for...

In-Spire - Making a song from scratch - Inspiring Change Through Music

2020 Was hard in many ways but we are grateful that we were able to thrive despite everything. Our Youth project 'Inspiring Change Through Music' has been operating throughout the pandemic and has seen the creation of over 70+ original songs in the past year - HERE IS A SNEAK PEAK of how we make a song from start to finish. This song 'Love is a thing' was made on one of our holiday projects. We have a bunch of exciting things coming up this year with some big announcements. Who are we? what do we do?

In-Spire Sounds Community interest company set up by Kingsley Pratt-Boyden A.KA King Boyden; Comprising of a Recording studio and Youth work Facility.

We work with young people and amateur musicians in order to help them produce and record their own professional music in a dynamic studio environment. We also provide guidance and tuition for those wishing to break into the music industry, to set up their own independent record labels and collectives, and everything else involved in the music industry such as producing merchandise and booking shows.

We work with a range of musicians from established Artists to people who have aspirations in music, who don’t currently have the facilities to record or the knowledge to produce professional sounding tracks. We are also strong believers that music can be used as a therapeutic tool to engage with young and marginalised peoples. Music influences the way people feel and can help build confidence and appreciation in life. It can also build strong bonds between peers and provide positive united structures; a positive outlet for many young people facing problems in their lives
