Success Story: Shenington Kart Racing Club - SKRC" - Tickets for Awards Ceremony
Objective: Develop and create a user-friendly form enabling individuals to specify the desired quantity of tickets, accompanied by a range of customizable options. Ensure that the appropriate menu selections for ticket types are displayed, facilitate the collection of essential information for each ticket holder, facilitate secure payment processing through Stripe, and generate confirmation emails.
The web application was deployed and operational, undergoing a series of rigorous testing phases over a span of two weeks, resulting in successful outcomes. During this process, measures were implemented to enhance user experience, such as introducing timeouts for the "Pay Now" button and temporarily storing data in the user's browser cache to prevent inadvertent double payments.
To further streamline the administrative process, a dedicated page was developed for administrators, providing them with a comprehensive overview of all ticket holders and their respective menu choices, effectively reducing their workload.
As a testament to the application's effectiveness, within the one month and fourteen days that the form was made available, a total of 200 individuals have successfully registered for the Awards Evening. These impressive results underscore the success of our efforts in creating a user-friendly and efficient platform for our users.
