The Settlers on the Commodore Amiga stands apart from anything you might expect. While it may appear to be a God game at first glance, it offers so much more. Unlike Populous, which it might resemble in some aspects, The Settlers dives deeper, offering a level of complexity that keeps you engaged. It blends elements from a variety of genres, crafting a unique experience that's far more than the sum of its parts. It's superb πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

Target Renegade was all about kicking, punching, and clubbing to the point where it’s anything but polite. Although the game's brutal action can be a bit grating at times, I can’t deny that it has definite entertainment value πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

Target Renegade, for the Commodore 64, and Mr. Big is back in town! This time he's captured your brother! He's being held at his hideout which is located on ...

Pitfall may be easy to understand, but it’s anything but easy to conquer. And yet, despite its simplicity, the challenge remains timeless. Pitfall is still a fun, demanding game that rewards patience and sharp reflexes... even if it is definitely showing it's age πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

Flying Feathers is a fun game while it lasts. The only problem is you're stuck to the same screen, with just one type of bird to shoot. Cranking up the difficulty by flooding the place with a ridiculous swarm of hungry birds can certainly pass 5 or 10 minutes though - get this early title from Bubble Bus fired up and give it a whirl πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

πŸ‘‡

Flying Feathers, for the Commodore 64, is a side view single screen shooter where you are a warden in a boat on the bottom of the screen and you must protect...

Flashback, from Delphine Software, followed in the footsteps of Another World, capturing that same essence of pure, high-calibre quality. I still consider it one of the greatest masterpieces ever to grace the Commodore Amiga. If you want to experience the Amiga at its finest and lose yourself in a world of cinematic brilliance and immersive storytelling, look no further... this is the one πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

The Neverending Story and the world of Fantasia looked great in this text Adventure from Ocean Software, but trying to talk to it? That’s another story. While the graphics are impressive, the limited parser made conversation feel like a guessing game. If you're struggling with English, the included verb list might be a blessing, but for seasoned adventurers, it’s a frustrating limitation. Thankfully, the story still shines through, making this a visually rich, if somewhat tongue-tied, adaptation of the beloved and incredibly nostalgic tale πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

πŸ‘‡

The Neverending Story, for the Commodore 64, is a text adventure based on the movie by Wolfgang Petersen (rather than the novel by Michael Ende). The world of...

B.C. Bill was a no-holds-barred romp through the Stone Age... a one-screen, savage circus where our caveman hero clubs prospective cave-wives over the head and drags them back for some serious Palaeolithic pleasures. First, you whack the ladies, then cart them into your cave; next, you club some food, drag it to the fire, and cook it up. Soon, storks start dropping off kids! It’s club, drag, cook, repeat... an absurd, and downright savage formula for prehistoric pandemonium πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

πŸ‘‡

B.C. Bill, for the Commodore 64, is a collect-em-up about the daily struggles of our ancestors. As the caveman BC Bill, you must compete with other contempor...

The Dolphin's Rune: A Poetic Odyssey, released in 1985 by Mindscape, was an unconventional action-puzzle game for the Commodore 64. Your whole purpose was to navigate a dolphin through an expansive ocean, avoiding predators like sharks and hazards such as fishing nets in the aim of unveiling a complex riddle! Talk about obscure! πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

Another World on the Commodore Amiga was an absolute masterpiece. An awe-inspiring blend of cinematic storytelling, breathtakingly fluid animation, and heart-pounding action. From the very first moment, as a freak lightning strike hurls you into a stunningly alien world, the game grips you with its eerie atmosphere, unpredictable dangers, and beautifully minimalist aesthetic. I'm giving this game a big thumbs up in advance! Not to be missed πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

Get ready for a trip down memory lane with Arcade Classics for the Commodore 64! This multi-arcade collection packed quite the punch, bringing together the best of the arcade world in one convenient cassette! What really stood out was the convenience of having this compilation as a single package, perfect for me as I loved these arcade games back in the 80s!πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

In space, nobody can hear you scream! Argus Press’s 'Alien' brilliantly captures the tension and atmosphere of the classic film, delivering a nerve-wracking experience where the fear of the unknown is ever-present. The constant dread of where the creature might be lurking creates an unsettling mood that not only affects you but also impacts your crew’s morale and behaviour! πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

Alien (Argus Press) for the Commodore 64 and In space no-one can hear you scream! That tagline from the movie is apt for this strategy adaptation that follow...

Black Knight from Interdisc, way back in 1984, was a brutal test of skill! Sure, it was simple in design, but for those who battled their way to the end, the nostalgia is undeniable. Horses, crocodiles, treacherous moving platformsβ€”and best of all, a sword-fighting dwarf! What more could you possibly want from a Commodore 64 game?! πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

Crystal Dragon is a game for RPG gaming fans, the types who love titles such as Dungeon Master, Bloodwych or Eye of the Beholder. In typical dungeon style, you shuffle through corridors, fight monsters and guardians, and find all sorts of odds and ends that make life underground worth living. Sure this RPG looks a little dated, but the gameplay is right bang up to date! I love this game, apart from the fact that walking into walls can hurt you! πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

πŸ‘‡

Crystal Dragon, for the Commodore Amiga, follows the same genre and setting as Dungeon Master. It revolves around two adventurers, both controlled by you, in...

Barry McGuigan World Championship Boxing (also known as Star Rank Boxing) for the Commodore 64 had decent graphics for 1985. Probably the best boxing game we got! I liked the inside and outside styles of fighting, with the fire button used for close-quarter combat. I enjoyed playing this one with my brother as a kid, watching him climb the ranks and eventually fight against McGuigan himself! πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

Well, Miami Vice on the Commodore 64 really knows how to break your spirit... you’ll need to catch criminals at precise times, on specific days of the week, and in particular buildings. If you miss one tiny window of opportunity you’re left staring at an empty room like a fool. Navigating the streets of Miami is tough as nails... the controls are stiff, and the steering feels more like you're piloting a boat on land than driving a car! Haha this was one tough driving lesson πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

I was absolutely hooked on Neuromancer. This game is incredibly complex and promises to keep you on the edge of your seat for weeks, all while keeping the addictive and compelling storyline rolling. It’s an intense, gripping experience that’s hard to put down! Neuromancer is a classic, no question πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ

While some missions can be exceptionally challenging, don’t let that deter you... Space Hulk offered an unforgettable experience back in the day and was a game I could really get my teeth into. The action is tense enough to be almost harrowing at times, especially on the Deathwing levels! A 3D dungeon-esque title with plenty of action and gripping play! Not for the faint-hearted πŸ˜‡πŸ•ΉοΈπŸ‘Œ
