Last evening we were all entertained by members Laine and Liam with their demonstration titled “ Going Potty”
With their good humour and knowledge they shared many tips and ideas for growing from seed using simple homemade biodegradable pouches to tips for taking cuttings and propagating in the garden. They certainly sowed the seed of enthusiasm with us all and we thank them both for an enjoyable evening.

Last week we thoroughly enjoyed our final gathering of the year to complete our Sapphire Anniversary Celebrations ..
We welcomed the phenomenal and highly skilled James Burnside with his demonstration “The Sparkle of Christmas.”
As always James excelled with his interpretation of the title and filled the stage with marvellous colourful designs that had everyone rushing to buy tickets in anticipation of taking something home. We thank you James for a wonderful evening..
To all our members and friends we wish everyone a Happy and Peaceful Christmas and New Year and look forward to the 2025 programme..

Despite the arrival of our seasonal weather we had a great turnout to welcome Edel Michael from the Mid-Ulster Floral Art Society to our club tonight. Edel treated us to a wonderful demonstration using her “Bits and Bobs” and created a full table of splendid designs with everyone eagerly waiting for the raffle in anticipation of taking one of her arrangements home.. Thank you again Edel .. 🥀

We recently celebrated our Sapphire Anniversary evening with friends and members and were privileged to have NIGFAS President Phyllis Boyd and Chairperson Johann Henderson attend. We thank them for making the journey all the way to Omagh and for conveying their good wishes on behalf of NIGFAS to our Club.
You will see from the photos we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and were served with a delicious dinner in the Silverbirch Hotel which was beautifully decorated for the occasion. Our sincere thanks to the Hotel and staff and to Violet Little for her delightful Sapphire Anniversary cake..

Last evening Shirley Moore visited our club with her demonstration “###X Hacks”.
We had a wonderful evening with this talented lady. Shirley designed all of her arrangements using containers and mechanics that any of us could pick up from our local stores and with her expertise and creativity produced fabulous floral pieces. Thank you Shirley ..🥀

This evening we returned in great numbers after our summer break. We especially welcomed our new members and visitors and we hope to see everyone back in the coming months..
After a busy AGM we were treated to a wonderful demonstration “Autumnal Splendour, “ delivered by our members Anne Johnston and Reggie Alcorn. The table was filled with an array of seasonal colour and splendid designs, traditional, contemporary, freestyle with and without oasis. All the lucky winners went home well pleased ..
