We are aimed at anyone interested in wholesome living and holistic lifestyles with tips, info, and helpful content for improving mental and physical health. Each issue will also include a carefully selected directory of local and

nation-wide services and resources that we hope will be of use to our readers, some of which will have been featured in our articles. Based in the North East of Scotland we are keen to support local and independent businesses, services, coaches, bloggers, podcasters, artists, therapists, and influencers but are currently open to anyone UK based who may be interested in contributing or adverting with us. Never forget your achievements. Celebrate them with confidence and joy. 🙏🩷🩷🩷

Back in the day I opened up a craft studio called Arting Around with a self designed soft play area at in Aberdeenshire.

I was quite pleased with myself when I created a design for our soft play centre that would allow little ones to feel they were in their own magical castle (although I think I drove the manufacturer a bit crazy with the vision, colour scheme and ever changing ideas 😆)

I held bespoke craft and soft play birthday parties for children and craft sessions for adults too. It was such a beautiful time in my life, being creative, meeting lots of lovely people, watching happy children enjoying their parties, all whilst offering a tranquil space to simply have fun. Not only that I felt truly grateful to have had the opportunity to have my studio in the gorgeous grounds of Crathes Castle too. Lucky me. 🩷

Being creative is such an important part of our lives but sadly we don't often
make time for it. However, the benefits of switching off our busy minds and simply losing ourselves in a creative pursuit are endless. So with this being said, I encourage you to do something creative for yourself this weekend and see how it makes you feel. 🌸🖌️♥️

For those of you who have watched the film Warership Down you'll know how sad it was. I remember watching it when I was younger and felt truly saddened by it. However having watched it when I was older I felt it was a truly spiritual and beautiful film (although there are some upsetting scenes which are difficult to watch especially when you are an animal lover) 😟

One of the truly poignant lines in the film is

"All the world will be your enemy. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first they have to catch you.". Wow...I'm sure most of us can relate to having had an enemy in our time. They may now want to kill you (heavy) but they may want to make your life difficult. Survival whilst living with grace and love for one another is something we can all learn from by this beautiful film. 🙏🩷

Albeit the film is about rabbits and not hares, I captured this little sweetheart when out waking the other day. A moment of reflection and connection. Quite beautiful. 🩷🩷🩷🐰

I'm just popping on this morning to share my news about how things will be looking for the R&B magazine during 2025. ❤️

This year we will be doing things a little differently. Instead of offering 6 issues throughout the year we will be inviting our customers to join us in 3 issues. There will be the opportunity for customers to get their advertising business requirements organised for the whole year by signing up to all three issues too.

We will also be offering our popular social media management service to further support business requirements, freeing up more time for customers to concentrate on other areas of their business.

All ongoing customers and any new customers wishing to join us can be guaranteed a supportive and professional service with their advertising and social media management requirements all covered for 2025.

Existing customers keep an eye out for an email coming into your inbox providing you with more information. Look out for a small thank you gift too. 🎁

FROTH, VISION and a good dose of HOPE.🙏

Whilst sitting in my living room this afternoon with my mega fluffy cup of coffee, I was gifted a Gino milk frother for Christmas and honestly it's the best present ever.😀 Anyways, I was in a contemplating kind of mood so I thought I'd share a little pic of our soon to be pretty little lavender field and our vision for this year too. Whilst the field is presently covered in snow and looks quite beautiful, I was having a slight arrggg moment and wondered if lavenders will actually survive our Scottish winters 🤦, should I perhaps just get sheep 😆, would love them too but that's not the vision, anyhoo we have plenty of them in the field across from us. This is where the vision and hope part kicked in. I saw a field full of beautiful colourful lavenders, shrubbery, a pond, some benches, perhaps sunflowers ( I'm getting the secret garden meets pretty little lavenders vibe 😆) a warm sanctuary to gather like minded souls who wish to connect in nature whilst relaxing amongst our beautiful flowers, potential collabs with fellow healthy living advertisers who join us offering nurturing and healing therapies for small groups. Not only that we have a stunning backdrop of rolling hills which will be the perfect venue to capture photos of your time spent with us. We also hope to offer our space to anyone looking for a natural and pretty environment for photo shoots too.

Gosh it's all very exciting and a lot to do but like everything it all takes time to come to fruition. Our vision may have to be tweaked here and there but our hope is that everything falls into place and lavenders survive the winter months too.

I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and downtime for some rest and recuperation today too. 🎄💚

We have had such a lovely time with family and this nana has been clucking over her beautiful granddaughter who arrived safely into the world on the 19th of December. I thought all of my clucks had been taken for our adorable grandson but no no I've been strutting my stuff with huge love for both this Christmas...what joy they bring. 🐔😆 🩷🌸👶👦🍼

Our new neighbours...😀🖤🤍

I love the opportunity to connect with animals in their natural environment. Since a young girl I have always been fascinated at how animals and humans communicate. When we pay attention to the animals that surround us not only our domesticated ones but our wild ones you'd be surprised at what they might be communicating to you at the time of connection. Have you ever noticed a particular animal/bird turn up when you're perhaps feeling upset? You may already look up what their message is to you but if you've not then why not try it next time, you'll be amazed at the guidance they are giving to you.

I read that a flock of sheep reminds us of the importance of living harmoniously within our communities and how we can thrive when we work together. 🩷

Sheep can also represent being gentle on ourselves which is quite fitting at this time of year when we are all busy rushing around for Christmas.

Aren't animals amazing? 🐑💜💜💜💜
