About Us
Polymath PR head-honcho Tom Brumpton has had his work recognised by The Recording Academy, secured multiple award nominations and wins for his PR and film projects, and re-establish British metallers Raging Speedhorn. He was made a full member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in 2016, was interviewed for the 2017 book “Disadvantaged Populations & Technology in Music” and was appointed a judge for the Heavy Music Awards in 2017, 2018 and 2019. He was made a member of BAFTA Crews in 2018.
In 2011, Tom began working with US promotions company Music Promotion Inc. In 2015 he worked as part of the promotional team on reggae group Morgan Heritage’s Grammy winning ‘Strictly Roots’ album. For their efforts, the team had their work individually recognised by The Recording Academy. Through MPi, Tom worked for the David Lynch Foundation, promoting records featuring Moby, Iggy Pop and Tom Waits among others. He also promoted Dave Stewart’s 2012 London Olympics single “Man To Man (Woman To Woman)” and one of Michael Hutchence’s unreleased tracks, “Friction” produced by composer Danny Saber.
Tom’s worked across a range of genres, with his clientele ranging from up and comers to Academy Award nominated actors and Grammy winners. He’s handled campaigns for large and small-scale tours and events, including the Trondheim Metal Festival, the Chatham House event “Art As An Act Of Defiance” and the red carpet premiere for the 2018 action film Outlawed. Since 2014 Tom’s handled media affairs for British metallers Raging Speedhorn, including co-managing their crowd-funding campaign for the band’s 2016 album “Lost Ritual”, which raised over £14,000.
