THANKS to those who made it to our Makeney and Milford BELPER SOUL FESTIVAL pre party last night at the wonderful Makeney Hall Hotel. A little quieter than we would have liked in the Motown and northern soul room but on the other hand the modern and boogie room was bouncing! Full of smiling faces and maybe this morning sore feet. Keep your eye’s open for our summer 2025 event! Dates to be announced. AS DISCUSSED ON NUMEROUS occasions last evening! We are not longer associated with BELPER SOUL FESTIVAL ! We see little point in putting our name to events charging for wristbands yet tge general public are allowed by default into the venues involved?

Thanks to everyone that came along to the Soul Festival on the 26th May. We all had an awesome time. I’m sure you will all appreciate that the event took a lot of hard work and effort to stage which we did this last time as part of a collaboration with Belper Soul Festival who sadly don’t pay their bills,either to the venue or the DJS. The relationship we have to say wasn’t a marriage made in heaven. We have had to dig hard into our own pockets this time around to ensure all the lovely music providers and support crew got PAID! Our next event BELPER BIG SOUL NIGHT on 30.11.24 will be an event organised by ourselves and MAKENEY HALL HOTEL who we will be working with on future events under the banner MAKENEY and MILFORD SOUL FESTIVAL. Makeney Hall Hotel NOTE 🎵 any tickets 🎫 previously purchased for this event will be honoured by ourselves. We have been removed from the ability to post on the Belper Soul Festival page or group! So for now keep your eyes 👀 on this page for updates. #LifeIsSweet
