happy birthday to a man that inspired me and so many others, who we lost sooner than we'd like.

Pete was a unique being, who connected with people through his love for music and his kind nature. Back in 2021 we put on an event together at the Arboretum to celebrate music we both found uplifting and special.

Pete as ever pulled out all the stops with special designs and treats for all that stopped by including what he called a 'lucky record bag' with a free 45 in it, some written messages, and a pencil with the inscription 'love is the most important thing'.

This simple phrase stuck with me and the plan was to continue the journey with a series of regular events. Sadly that wasn't possible with the time we had.

I have tried to begin the continuation of this journey with the latest release on a label dedicated to Pete, love is the most important thing. We have also tried to pull out all the stops with some unique artwork from local artists and artefacts that some of you my recognise. Please give it a listen and buy a copy if you can afford. £1 from every copy of the record on bandcamp will go to - supporting charities that were close to Pete.

The name and concept came from the wonderful Pete Woosh (DiY) on an event we collaborated together on in the Arboretum, Nottingham a few years back. The plan was for it to be an ongoing project but sadly time did not permit.

The label is intended as a continuation of the vibe and spirit of the happenings that Pete put on his more recent years, community events in local cafes or nighttime gatherings in Coppice Park, they were all quite special.

This weekend.

None other than the heroic  aka Sensei Dave graces us with his presence back in Nottingham for the first time since way before COVID 🔥🌛

On Friday, we’ll be celebrating our first ever show on Deep Radio alongside long-time DJ partner, Nicky Bah .t_leroy 🎛️

On Saturday, myself and Felix are having a celebratory birthday sandwich (his just been, mine on the way) at . We’ll be clearing the floor to make way for absolute nonsense. Come and join, all welcome, from 7pm till late.

A good pre-warm up for Smokescreen Soundsystem, some may say 🎉🎉

It's been a fairly quiet year on the music front.

Our new label is coming in the next couple of months - dedicated to the unforgettable spirit of Pedro Threes Spirit Wrestlers Foundation

We have also taken on a space for a new venture. An appointment-based record shop and studio for the local community. Plus, somewhere to have fun.
