Our exciting launch party tomorrow will now be held from 8PM in both THE CHAPEL (dj set) and CHESTERFIELD LOUNGE upstairs ! We have the amazing performing a vinyl dj set!

Due to popular demand and a larger venue space, we’ve now released 60 more free tickets so invite your friends! We can’t wait to see you all there! 🧡🪩

Print Edition #5 Content Call🌟🌟🌟

It’s time for our first print edition content call of the academic year! The theme for this issue is ‘Connections’, and we have 16 articles available to claim - so be quick if you would like to claim one!

There is a spreadsheet linked at our link in bio with a short brief on what we’re looking for in each article. If you like the look of an article idea, just input your name and email next to it to claim it!

Each article should be 400-500 words MAX, and there is a strict deadline for submissions of the 8th November.

Once finished, send your article to [email protected] ready for editing!

We can’t wait to see what you come up with! 🧡

Print Edition 4 is here!🎉✨

The theme for this issue is celebrations, which ties in nicely with the graduation ceremonies happening this week and next - we’ve even included an article exploring graduation traditions around the world!

There are limited copies available, so head to the SU website now to pick up your copy!

We’re running another photo competition for our final print edition of the academic year! 📸

We’re looking for 4x cultural photos linked in some way to the theme of “celebration” - ideally we would like to showcase 4 different cultures/countries/continents - for our section header photos 🗺️

RULES:
••All photos must be your own work
•No limit on number of submissions
•Open to members AND non-members (HOWEVER you must be a University of Nottingham student and a member of the UoNSU)

Deadline: Friday 14th June

Activities Awards 2024 🥳 we won the Student Group Development Award! AND we’re a Gold Star Society! Wooooo! 🌟 So proud of everyone who worked so hard to make Lingo the society it is this year - thank you so much! 🧡

It is with regret and apologies that the Lingo Magazine European Film Festival will not be going ahead next week. Due to the heavy workload of exam season, and most of Lingo’s committee either being in their final or masters years, we have decided to postpone the event until a more suitable time can be found. Thank you for your understanding 🧡
