The CAA trying to take our rights away as model aircraft hobbyists, namely by implementing remote ID (Big Brother). The government have acknowledged the hobby is not a public safety risk and can provide no evidence of a security risk either and yet they want to implement these draconian regulations. Why? I am looking forward to flying the drones on warm, light summer evenings as the sun sets. Although this time of year can offer some exceptionally crisp, clear, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets with unbelievably vivid colours.

The next time we have a clear, cold, and sunny day, cast your eyes, not only to the sky as the sun is setting, but after the sun has set. This can be equally beautiful. Notice the fading red on the horizon, traversing to the most vivid blue as darkness closes in. See how the brightness of the stars stands out against that vivid blue sky. It really is breathtaking.

Conversely, check out the sky before the sun rises. Again, given the right conditions, the sky, along with the suns rising glow before it hits the horizon line, can throw out the most amazing show in the sky. Nature can be stunning. We just need to be mindful, take a moment, and embrace it.

So I have been out of action since mid November following surgery on my right hand. Recovery and physio has been slow, but I hope to be back in action by February with new adventures and shoots. 📸🎬
