We were in Loughborough today supporting G. Gamble & Sons - Quorn ltd. Independent Funeral Directors with a live stream of a Requiem Mass for Sister Mary Anna Patricia Pereira. The stream was watched by 107 people in Canada, the UK, Italy, Ireland and the US.

We had a nice trip out today down to St James' Church in Badsey to support our friends at Merstow Green Funeral Home. It was, as always, a pleasure to support Martyn and his team. There was a very poor signal on all the mobile networks, but thanks to the bonded technology we used we were able to deliver a high quality stream that was watched in the UK, Greece, New Zealand, Poland and Australia.

We don’t ask for feedback as we don’t think it’s appropriate to bother grieving families, however sometimes people get in touch because they want to provide feedback and say thank you. Below is a really lovely example from this week.

Dear Rob,

Thank you so much for all you did on Tuesday.

I have had numerous thank you messages from friends who watched the livestream and were so happy they could be part of it. Most having parties and drinking Prosecco, obviously!!

We appreciate the video also, for friends in New Zealand who couldn’t join due to the time difference, and an elderly lady I visit, with whom I’ll watch it, and also friends who are away abroad on holiday at the moment.

Thank you again for your reliability, neatness and professionalism. I shall have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to friends, and will tell Andrew Woodhouse how good you were. You can’t imagine how much you took off my shoulders by knowing you were double belt and braces! I didn’t worry about it at all after that!

Here's a clip of a very snowy arrival in Ilkeston a few weeks ago when we worked with Bespoke Funeral Care for the first time to include a live broadcast for family and friends in India, the US, Canada, Oman and the UK.

We’re in Chesterfield today to live stream a funeral. Two camera setup plus a third camera outside. There’s going to be a band today for what promises to be a real celebration of life with people able to watch in the US and the Caribbean.

It was a privilege today to be back in the beautiful Annunciation RC Church in Chesterfield to support Simon Paul Winfrow and his great team from Hattersley's Funeral Service.
