We will be having a Welcome Talk on Wednesday 4th October at 5pm in the SU lounge (St Andrews).

As a student magazine at a creative university, Storehouse recognises how students are keen to express themselves as individuals through fashion.

For this reason, we would like to welcome everyone to come dressed in garments which reflect current, previous or ever evolving fashion trends. We hope to celebrate the theme of Issue 26 ‘Past, Present and Future’ this way.

Entry is free for all NUA students, bring your friends along and raise a glass.

🚨We have now officially sent out emails to all successful submissions for Issue 26🚨

Some will be published in the student magazine, ‘Past, Present, Future’ and others will feature online on our website. Congratulations to you all!

If you didn’t receive an email, please don’t be disheartened that you haven’t been selected. The standard of work was super high.

Those that have been successful, please can you email us confirmation of your name, course, year group and preferred pronouns for the credits by Friday 10th of February. We want to double check this information before the magazine is sent to print.

It’s Christmas Eve!!!🤩 We hope wherever you are right now, you’re feeling relaxed, surrounded by people you love, ready to get cosy and are enjoying some nice warm food and drink☕️🎄

Thank you to all of the team for being so hardworking over this past term, without them, storehouse wouldn’t be able to run!👏🏼👏🏼 We can’t wait to launch the magazine in Spring 2023 and there is an exciting announcement coming up soon about a new series for 2023…. 👀

Over the holidays, while uni is on hold, why not submit to Issue 26 via the link in our bio? We can’t wait to see what you guys have in store!! Our mission is to showcase as much student work as possible, we have had some great submissions so far but there is still room for more and the more the merrier of course!! 😊

It’s official, submissions are open for Issue 26! The link has just launched in our bio or you can swipe and scan the QR code in this post to access the google form😊

Set to launch in Spring 2023, Storehouse is asking you to respond to the theme ‘Past, Present and Future’.

Please see our previous post with the brief for the magazine, written by our fabulous curation team. You can respond to the theme as a whole or one specific time frame, for example ‘Future’.

The submission link is via a google form, we welcome all year groups and courses from NUA to submit work. This can be in any format from written pieces to paintings, design work or prints/photography, the possibilities are endless.

If you would like to submit, any images must be between 200 and 600 DPI in JPEG or PNG format. If your work isn’t digital, please ensure scans or photographs are of high quality. Videos are submitted via a link through the form, if you are submitting a film please include some stills also so these can go in the magazine.

You must also produce a written piece to go alongside your submission which details how you have responded to the theme. This should be a minimum of 150 words.

Wednesday the 9th of November, our first whole society meeting. What a great way to kick off Storehouse Issue 26!

Here we have all the fabulous outcomes from our workshop on Wednesday. Everyone brought such a positive energy to the room, we really have a great feeling about this team.

The brief was to create a drawing/self portrait of the team member to your left. It was so wholesome to see everyone getting to know each other.

Thank you to everyone who came along and thanks to for trusting the vision and compiling together the outcomes🤩

We have decided to extend our application deadline to Friday!! This gives you a few extra days to gather your work and apply to be on the storehouse team.

The link to our application form is in our bio or if you’ve signed up you would’ve got an email as well.

Thank you everyone that attended the Storehouse Welcome talk yesterday!

The link to apply to become part of Storehouse is in our Bio. Within the form that you fill out we ask that you add in a OneDrive link with a portfolio of your work.

When you create your OneDrive Folder:

1. Label your folder with your first and last name.
2.Press the 3 dots next to your folder.
3. Press share where you’ll then be able to copy a link.
4. Paste the OneDrive link in the designated box on the form.

Applications will close Monday Evening at 6pm.

Once again, we appreciate everyone coming to the talk and we hope to see some familiar faces next week!

Storehouse is back for Issue 26!

In preparation for applications opening to be part of the team, we have organised a Welcome Talk on Wednesday the 26th of October at 5pm in the St Andrews SU lounge.

We will be talking about the various roles which are available and how you can become a part of the largest student led magazine in the UK!!

If you can’t be there in person, no worries, we will be posting information on how you can apply to Storehouse next week after the talk.

The team is super excited for Issue 26 and we hope you are too. Can’t wait to see as many of you as possible on Wednesday!

💓 Issue 24 - Play: A Method of Discovery has landed! 💓

WE’RE SO EXCITED about this issue and can’t wait for you to have a copy in your hands.

The magazines have been distributed around numerous buildings on campus, including Gunton’s, Duke Street, Duke Street Riverside, St George’s and St Andrews.

Featuring stunning illustrations by .holland and for you to colour in. We wanted to represent what makes NUA special and what better way than through our artistic identity and the amazing students.

Once you’ve coloured your chosen copy in make sure to tag us and we’ll repost to our story.

Don’t forget to check out our website too for some beautiful online exclusives and motion work.

Reminder that tomorrow is the date of our much anticipated launch party, 10pm-3am at Karma Kafe with free entry for those celebrating the magazine’s launch.

We’ve been receiving incredible submissions so far, but realise that for many NUA students hand-in was a lot. For that reason, we’re extended the submission deadline by a week!

The new deadline is 15.12.21, we hope that this means that those of you who wanted to submit but couldn’t find the time now have a better opportunity.
