Social Media can be a proper head itch for many business owners 😭

Like, you know that there are so many opportunities waiting for you online but you just cannot find the energy or spark to start, and it's starting to grind at you 😬

Can you really afford to boost your online presence? 🤔

Photographers need to stop letting strangers into their studios or on their shoots...

Did you know that I actually started my social media career in the photography industry? 📸

I love this industry because it can be such a special service for a client, one that they will treasure forever, as their photographer can be a part of the biggest moments in a clients life. It's so lovely to see memories made through the art of photography and I believe that it's a trade that will be here for a lifetime, you just can't beat it.

But some things that I have come across in this industry are photographers having little to no idea about who they're about to photograph, which can create a huge gap between photographer and client, leaving the session to feel awkward and authenticity lacks in the finished product.

Ways to get to know your client can include:
👉 detailed questionnaires to really get to know your clients and what they're looking for out of the shoot
👉 regular market research ensuring you know new trends/where your clients will be in online spaces
👉 creating engaging stories on your Instagram/Facebook, utilizing the poll and question feature to get direct answers from your audience

You may be pleasantly surprised how quickly your business can flourish once you are able to bridge the gap between stranger and happy, returning client 😁📸

Reels this, reels that... Yes i know that it's good for the algorithm but where the hell do you start?

There are many signals that you can give the algorithm in order for your content to achieve more engagement and be shown to more people so i'm going to talk you through the basics and how to acheive this!

1. 👉 Does Instagram truly know who you are? Make sure you are using optomized keywords and hashtags to be put infront of the correct audience

2. 👉 Is your Reel engaging enough? Try using fun transitions and edits to add a bit of spice to the video

3. 👉 Making relatable content will encourage your audience to share the Reel to their stories and friends, increasing your reach

4. 👉 Increase the watch time by creating videos that people are hooked on, get them inspired, educate them, move them.

5. 👉 Stop the scroll, focus on those first few seconds of your Reel and keep them as encapsulating and exciting as possible so that users stop to watch you

Make sure that you're focussing on these points and it should be an easy start to your venture in the Reels world and watch your engagement boom! 🙌

Social media marketing changes quite a lot, this means that we must be on top of knowing what the algorithm favours👍

Let me explain exactly who I am, what I do, and how I can help you 👇

So my name is Alice. I'm Norfolk born and bred, and I live in the fine city of Norwich, somewhere that has always felt like home ❤️

I never started out wanting to be a social media manager, probably because it wasn't much of a job when I was considering my university studies 😂 Instead, I decided to study Events Management considering I have a real passion for live music.

During this time, I did several digital marketing and social media modules, which gave me a taste of something I not only really enjoyed, but saw that I took to it quite well. I knew that this could be where my career was heading.

Fast forward to lockdown; I had spent months unemployed and bored at home, wanting to make something of myself and actually kick-start my career. I decided to create a business selling handmade scrunchies, which allowed me to test out my social media skills and bring in a bit extra cash too😉

After a successful few months running my business, lockdown had eased, and I decided it was time to find something more permanent. I applied for a customer service role at a photography company. After a few weeks, I was then appointed part-time to run the Instagram accounts. A few months passed, and I was then taken on full-time as a social media manager and marketing assistant📱

These years really showed me the highs and lows of social media marketing. It allowed me to build up and gain important skills in the industry and got me to a place where I felt confident in myself to go solo, something I knew I was destined to do since my lockdown business.

That brings me to the current day; I now enjoy helping Norfolk businesses create an online presence that they can feel proud of, that brings in consistent clients to their business, and tells their story.

I pride myself on getting to know your business and brand voice, allowing me to create and edit high-quality content that speaks to your dream client and gets people talking about you 🫵
