Something Smooth For Sunday - I was inspired to do this mix after listening back on so many Sergio classics over the last few months. In a 50+ year career he covered all music genres from Samba to Soft Rock. This mix is my tribute to his overall musical legacy. As ever these are personal favourites. Apologies if I missed your favourite out, he has a large much sampled back catalogue which is well worth investigating.
This mix features over 10 of my own re-edits along with reworks by DJ Spinna, Danny Monk, Pastel, Paul Oakenfold and others.
I hope you enjoy listening as much as i did playing them.

Mixed in 1997 (i think), this is one of my favourite mixes from back in the day. From my favourite 2LP of the 90's it just had to get a mix treatment. Maxwell is the only artist i have been to see twice on successive tours. At Manchesters "Boardwalk" and a year or 2 later at the Palace Theatre. Enjoy.
