Corporal Andy Reid MBE was serving in Helmand Province, Afghanistan with 3rd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment when he was involved in an IED blast on 13 October 2009. His injuries resulted in the amputation of both his legs and his right arm.

Reaching out to all cruise ship performers. I have an entertainer who will be away on several ships for a period of 70 days. Their current travel insurance only covers them for any one trip up to 45 days. Can anyone recommend a company for travel insurance that covers them for working as a performer on a cruise ship for 70 days please? Already had quotes from Hencilla and MHG, so looking for comparison quotes.

Tomorrow (Sunday 7 January 2024) Andy will feature on BBC 1 Songs of Praise at 1.15pm as part of the programme's 'New Year New You' segment.

The segment will elaborate on how his faith has helped him through his journey, and challenges, and inspired him to fundraise for charity. It will also touch on his challenges for this year, which include another trek up Mount Everest.

…….I have just returned from a cruise. I must say how much we thoroughly enjoyed K-Lo's act - professional and so funny. Made a pleasant change from stand-up comedians. She was versatile and had a beautiful voice with a great choice of material.
Also so unassuming when, at breakfast, another passenger said 'did you see last night's entertainment - the lady was excellent'. We laughed - as she was talking to 'that lady'. We do hope to see her again soon. Thank you.
