|| what do you think of the results? Behind the scenes of a cyclone we tried to do at home shooting a demo video for (not sponsored). It was very challenging as we are pouring over 6 liters of liquid in every take so we bought a swimming pool to cover the floor. Also shooting the with the probe lens needed a ton of light so we needed the power of two .lighting 600ds vl300 and 3 60w cob lights.

|| Quick project that I wanted to do for a long time and of course, I wanted to try it with mango and ginger cans. The theory seemed pretty easy and straightforward but of course the moment of truth was completely different. Water is tricky and with ink, you only have one shot. I didn't want to refill again another tank so I needed to be as precise as possible placing the ink tubes. At the end I am not 100% happy with the results and probably going to experiment more in the future. ||

||Probably a word that I say the most during the day is "SHOOT", I need to shoot this, I want to shoot that, I've shot a can the other day, or I've shot a girl last week...
To the person I speak with it totally makes sense but I was just wondering what the random listeners of a restaurant or a pub may think if I just talk about shooting without mentioning cameras, which in many cases I don't. So I made this picture so I can show them with what I shoot with!
That will make sense then!

HUAWEI P30 pro vs SONY A7III image quality. Which one is which? Leave your answer in the comments! 1 or 2?

I'm about to share one of my biggest mistakes. But first of all I want to ask you, how many lights do you think is too many lights? My answer is, have as many as possible. My mistake was to invest primarily in cameras and lenses, yes, lenses are very important, more than cameras, but there is one key ingredient that is even more important and is needed to make a photograph.
"A photograph is an image created by light " right?
And that has been my mistake, I've been denying the most important part of that definition, LIGHT.
In a well lit environment, phones are capable to keep up to professional cameras, that's why phones look so good capturing landscapes and portraits during daytime, and that is why you can find a lot of Instagramers doing crazy stuff with their phones.
I've been investing lately in lights and studying how they can be shaped and I think I've been able to step up my production quality to a whole new level.
So, leave your thoughts in the comments below and I will share the results in 2 days in a new post. In my opinion, the phone camera just blew my mind. I've tried to challenge the phone camera creating a very contrasty scene and pointing the lights directly to the camera to see how flares, highlights and shadows go but it was capable to take a decent picture.

And it is finally here! Rowntree’s delicious Randoms sweets commercial. SOUND ON🔊
As said a lot of times during this days shooting it, it was extremely difficult to resist the temptation to eat all these sweets and I ended up getting extra bags 😂.
I am very glad that the brand's color is green so I was able to use my green screen as a backdrop and also as a VFX standard tool.
