Are you truly listening?
The sad truth about men's mental health is it is not about an unwillingness to talk but often an unwillingness to listen, as shown by the alarming statistic that 91% of men who commit suicide had already sought help.
By partnering with ManUp?, we want to help you help those who are struggling and tackle the harming notion of ‘manning up’.

Here it is! The full behind-the-scenes documentary! 🎥
Join us as we embark on our latest Salomon spec-ad project. We filmed absolutely everything from start to finish, giving you an indepth insight into the challenges that we faced and how we pulled this project together.
This project was so much fun and it's geared us up to experiment and branch out even more on our next project. The question is, what product, topic or brand should we focus on next? 🤔

Oh you thought we were done? 🤔
We’ve only gone and put together a documentary of the full behind-the-scenes of our Salomon Spec Ad releasing on Monday 27th of November! 🎥
Follow us on our journey, from concept to completion where you see the challenges we faced, and the good times we had whilst creating the spec ad.
We’re incredibly proud to bring this to you. Stay tuned for the official release 😎
We're thrilled to unveil our Salomon X Menace Media Spec Ad - a short, snappy online ad that follows the journey of a struggling musician as they seek creativity and inspiration in the great outdoors.
Every creative soul needs a chance to flex their creative muscles every now and then. We were itching for a project that would challenge us, boost our portfolio, and let us dive deeper into the world of online advertising. Plus, it was the perfect opportunity for our team to explore new roles and strengthen our working relationships. That's why we decided to create a spec ad.
We considered all sorts of brands, from food and drinks to sports and cars, but ultimately, our passion for hiking and outdoor activities led us straight to Salomon.
Planning this project was no joke. We crafted a full storyboard, mapping out the exact shots we wanted to capture. To speed things up, we even enlisted the help of Midjourney AI to generate some imagery. Once that was sorted, we scouted for the ideal location. Lucky for us, the Peak District was just up the M1.
Efficiency was the name of the game here. All that planning paid off big time! Our detailed storyboard and shot list kept us on track, even if some shots didn't go exactly as planned. Having those references ensured we captured the key story elements flawlessly. Since we were working on a tight budget, we had to do as much as possible in-house. That meant using our own equipment, crew, and even our office and studio for the interior scene.
We took all the footage we captured and whipped up a first cut of the ad. After some tweaking and adjustments, we dived into visual effects, transitions, overlays, and, of course, the pièce de résistance - sound design! Sound was absolutely crucial for this project, so we devoted a ton of time to getting it just right. Lastly, we gave the project a full-color correction and grade treatment to achieve the perfect look.
In the end, we emerged stronger than ever, armed with a deeper unde
Somethings coming...
We've been waiting a while for this one! 👀
This Wednesday, we'll be dropping a project that we've been working on for months. A full team effort, with so much creativity at the heart of the project.
But wait, there's more! We've even created a full behind-the-scenes documentary. That's all we're going to say for now though 🤫
Stay tuned for this Wednesday! 🎬
How we create a Corporate Interview Setup
Interviews can be quite the production, and our recent setup was no exception. In addition to the usual kit, we had some set dressing to do and even introduced our new teleprompter.
Now, we have a bit of a love/hate relationship with teleprompters. We always prefer the natural approach to interviews, allowing the interviewees to speak from the heart. However, there are times when specific wording and camera shyness come into play, making a teleprompter the perfect solution. It can provide prompts while still allowing for a mostly natural response.
At the end of the day, we always assess the project's requirements and recommend what we believe will yield the best results. So, whether it's going with the flow or utilizing some helpful prompts, we've got you covered! 🤝
We got an Arcade Machine!
What does every office need? 🤔
An Arcade Machine! 👾
We recently picked up our very own Street Fighter Arcade machine for the office. We love it! 😁
It's all about the pre-production!
Why is pre-production planning so important? 🤔
Well, put simply, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail! And this project was no exception.
The shoot day that we had planned was jam-packed full of content, so we needed to ensure that we had everything detailed ahead of time so that we were super efficient on set.
So, on top of the usual pre-planning, with this project we did all of the set design, lighting tests, and framing/composition prior to the shoot day, to ensure that everything was 100% agreed on, and then on the shoot day we could rapidly get set up and have maximum filming time available.
It's not always possible to do it this way, as most projects aren't studio-based so can't be replicated, but in this instance, we had the luxury of knowing exactly what our filming location was and were able to replicate that in our own studio. Pretty neat eh'?
Lighting & Audio Behind-The-Scenes
Ever wondered what sort of lighting and audio setup we use on an interview set? 🤔
Well, you're in luck! Check out this behind-the-scenes breakdown of a recent setup we used on a promotional video shoot 😎 🎥 🎬
Join us as we take a trip down to London 💂🏼♂️ to film a promotional video at the Royal College of Psychiatrists for our good friends at Cambridge University Press 🎥
Our aim for this project was to capture an interview, along with a variety of supporting footage that can be overlaid to keep the end product engaging and suitable for social media usage 🎬
We absolutely loved the location for this video and our talent was a dream to work with. A true professional that got involved, and wanted to go the extra mile to make the end product that extra bit better 😎
