Apparently I read you should show your face on your business page every 20 or so posts, so unfortunately, here it is. 📸

I’ve had a few new followers over the last couple of months so I thought I’d show my face. I’m Ross, the guy behind the camera with a passion for crafting dreamy wedding films for my amazing couples.

My love affair with filming stuff began at a young age but truly blossomed in 2017 when my twin girls arrived, showing me the importance of capturing moments that last a lifetime.

When I’m not immersed in filming or editing, you’ll find me sipping coffee, cherishing family time, binging Netflix’s true-story series, and indulging in cheese (who doesn’t love cheese, right?).

For me the reason I love weddings are the genuine emotions, the unique tales, and the joyous celebrations—what’s not to love? Being part of people’s special day is an honor I cherish every time.

My approach to wedding videography? Relaxed, unobtrusive, and completely authentic. I aim to capture the essence of your day in a way that’s elegant yet natural, allowing you to relive those moments for years to come.

Now, let’s talk about my favorite part—the ceremony. There’s pure magic in witnessing heartfelt vows and them genuine emotions.

This Sunday is our brand new Spring Wedding Showcase and we can’t wait to welcome all of the lovely couples through the doors.

Come along anytime between 12pm & 3:30pm for your opportunity to see Kilworth House Hotel at its best. With our gorgeous wedding rooms set for a Ceremony and Wedding Breakfasts you really can imagine your special day with us.

We’ll have bedrooms to see, our Staging Post will be open, fizz and canapés for everyone and the Weddings team on hand to answer any questions or help with anything you need.

"If you're considering booking Epic Love Films for your wedding day, do it! From the moment my husband and I met with Ross, we knew that he was the person we wanted to capture our wedding. I completely avoid being filmed and watching myself back if I can, but Ross put me completely at ease. On the day, Ross was able to blend seamlessly into the background and capture all the essential parts of our day to allow us to remember them forever. He even offered to keep some tissues in his pocket for me because I was worried about tears ruining my makeup - a true gent! Ross kept us laughing throughout our portrait shots, captured some lovely candid footage of all of our guests and did an incredible job from start to finish. "We are so happy we chose Ross to capture our wedding video. Right from first contact he was so friendly and easy to talk to and all the wedding guests felt this too as he blended into the day. His attention to detail showed and he made sure he knew what was important for us and being a new venue to him did research in advance to make the most of it all. The videos are just so perfect and capture the day as we remember it. Ross encouraged us to write our own vows and although nerve wrecking, it was just the best advice and made the day and video even more special. Thank you Ross for the most magical memory"

Hey!

I thought it was about time I showed my face, I’m Ross, and I’m the man behind the camera.

I love weddings! They’re fun, emotional, personal and always unique. These emotions are the things I love to capture so I can create natural and authentic wedding films that are unique to you and can be cherished forever! If I can make someone smile, cry and snort-laugh with one of my films then I’m doing my job right.

So, when I’m not filming or editing, I’m drinking coffee, enjoying family time, bingeing Netflix series based on true stories, and eating cheese. However, I’m mostly picking up kids’ toys! My second passion is music, so you might find me at the odd festival listening to the likes of Maximo Park, Two Door Cinema Club and the Foo Fighters. In other words, I have awesome taste and I’m just like Batman: Super Dad during the day and gig goer by night. Ok, so I’m nothing like Batman but I do have a utility belt stocked with video equipment!

Hello, and welcome to the very first of my wedding blogs! I am absolutely delighted to kick off the blogs with a very special wedding that I was fortunate enough to capture in September 2021.

Sarah and Craig (aka Buzz and Muffin) have been through thick and thin together, and had the enormous task of planning a stunning wedding in a very short amount of time. In fact, it nearly didn’t happen at all due to poor Craig contracting Covid just days beforehand! It’s safe to say that wedding videography was not at the top of their priority list, but some difficult family news made it essential that their day was captured and remembered forever. I am honoured that they chose me to help them record their precious memories, and I feel very lucky to have been a part of such a beautiful and emotional day.
