Rooney Millbay Oysters are exclusively available from Rooney Fish. We believe they are amongst the finest oysters in the world, but don’t just take our word for it. Judged by over 500 of the most demanding palates, belonging to food critics, chefs, cooks, restaurateurs and producers as well as a whole host of food writers and journalists, Rooney’s Millbay Oysters were awarded a 3 star Great Taste Award, the highest award possible.
Our Pacific oysters are grown in the pristine waters of Carlingford Lough, close to our Kilkeel base, in Ireland. Using traditional methods we grow hatchery seed in nutrient rich waters giving us a natural product that, as you can see, looks and tastes fantastic.
Our hard work and dedication throughout the year allows us to produce beautifully shaped oysters with large plump meats. Perfect for every occasion. Our oysters are depurated in our state of the art depuration system, using the latest technology to ensure healthy and safe product for our many customers.
The oysters are depurated, cleaned, graded and packed in boxes ready to be shipped around the world to our eager customers.
