Mabels new obsession, her bike, the tiny little balance bike that she’s not been arsed about for the past year 😂 so she’s put in a request to the man in the red suit for a pink bike with pink pedals 😩 I hate pink, I’m trying to be a good mum and go with the flow but I’ve never liked pink lol. Is anyone else like this?

Just dropping in with another thank you for all the well wishes and love your still sending me ❤️

Also wanted to share some more stuff I guess, coz I’ve not really explained much about the tumour and a few of you have been asking ❤️

So as you may know, Ive always had headaches and migraines and over the years I’ve tried different things, to pretty much no avail. I requested an MRI after a bout of bad migraines and they found the tumour accidentally. Annoyingly, it isn’t the cause of my headaches (although it can give you them) so treating it now with radiotherapy isn’t going to take them all away sadly😩

Over the last 11 months, I’ve lost hearing, had dizzy spells, blurred vision, constant tinnitus and abit of fatigue, so I would have found out about the tumour at some point but feel very lucky that it was picked up earlier than it could have been and dealt with when needed.

I was given 2 options, radiotherapy or surgery, and neither was appealing funny enough. I had to move quite quickly if I wanted the radiotherapy as it was a fair size, growing and it could have gotten too big for that option. It was hard to make a decision, lots of different side effects for each, but once I’d decided, it was all booked in and I felt more at ease.

I will be totally deaf on my tumour side in the end, but for now, I’m still waiting for a hearing aid which will also help ease the tinnitus hopefully 🤞🏼

The tinnitus has defo stepped up a notch since the radiotherapy and I have a ‘blocked’ feeling in the deaf ear so far, like when you can hear your own voice😑

The tumour is on the hearing and balance nerve so that’s why I’m alittle wobbly now and then, but not too bad at all🙌🏼

Since Sunday my tongue/mouth is abit numb on one side, but again, not bad at all.

I’m doing good though, I’m resting, and making the most of everyone’s help lol.

👋 I just wanted to let you all know, I’m having radiotherapy on Thursday.

I’ve put this off for as long as possible but now that the treatment day is nearly here, it’s time to share❤️

Last December I found out I had a benign tumour, in my head, and it’s grown, annoyingly, so I’m having radiotherapy.
I’m fine, and feel very lucky, there’s so many people out there going through much worse.

I just have to get this bit out of the way, and hope for the best results.

Weve all made it through another week of the school hols 🥳🥳
It’s flying by for me to be honest. Until this week, we’ve been none stop, had family down, and James has had a weeks holiday so I can’t complain, but I think the last couple of weeks will slow alittle now I’m on my own lol, then again, the last minute rush for school stuff usually doesn’t help, I’m sure there will be some mild panic thrown in 😂

Who got rain then?? It was promised here, and we had ALOT of thunder but not one drop of rain.

I was secretly hoping it would, mainly for the plants and animals, coz I’m pretty happy in the heat, I’m literally ALWAYS cold 🥶

Also, how cool are these buoys! I’m always on the look out for them in car boots but found these beauties in Truro for a bargain price! Go check them out!

The end of an era 😢
They’re finishing juniors on Tuesday, where has the time gone and why are they so big ?
Last night was Frankie’s school leavers party, they had an amazing time, with a disco and BBQ to finish the year. Thank you Emma for stepping in and making sure Frankie got there to enjoy it, and for getting some lovely pics of them both looking super cool!

Thank you Wednesday 🌞

Another quick trip down to with Mabel to burn off some energy to ensure an afternoon nap 😂

I had stuff on the laptop to do, yet it’s still sat unopened on the table🙈I really struggle to to stop doing house/mum stuff and focus time in other places which I’ll need to nail as Mabel will be off to nursery in September and I really need to make some money!
