Last week Kevin Hendy and I started our new content collaboration with my food and drink media brand, called Good Grief at Home.

Our mission? To create the most stunning, mouth-watering food and drink using only the finest ingredients sourced right here on the Isle of Wight.
This episode was all about cheese, and we went all in:

🧀 Isle of Wight Blue Cheese Steak Sandwich
🧀 Truffle Cheese Mac & Cheese
🧀 Baked Jasper’s Coffee Cheesecake
🧀 Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Cream Cheese
🧀 Island Carbonara

Honestly, it was an absolute blast.
What made it even more special was seeing so many incredible local businesses come together to make it happen:

IOW Cheese

Can’t wait to share the finished videos with you all soon.

2025 marks the start of a new chapter, but also the end of another. I have officially retired from weddings.

I have been working in weddings since 2016 and I’ve probably shot nearly 70 weddings.

It has been an incredible journey, and what an unbelievable way to cut your teeth into the filmmaking & Photography scene. Hard graft, loads of fun, unreal pressure, multi tasking, long hours, traveling abroad, celebrity guests, celebrity grooms, celebrity brides. You name it I’ve seen it.

And although I’m sad it’s over I’m also so happy to be moving on. My clients have been unbelievable, a real pleasure shooting and delivering their special memories.

I’ve made life long fiends in the wedding game and I have no doubt that will continue. Thank you all for the continuous support, the recommendations the likes the comments.

Thank you! It’s been a blast, but now I look forward to long weekends with my family, camping trips and beach breaks as a husband and farther. Bless you all ❤️

Here are just a few of my favourites, there are so many I could have made a post containing 100 images and videos. Enjoy!

Thanks to my friends who’ve been unreal
Love you all

You know sometimes, when you do something full time, you forget to have fun with it. That for me was photography. I literally never shot for fun.

So 2024 I made a pledge to shoot more photos for fun. The results? A load of great shots that would be lost forever if I hadn’t of done so! But not only that, free photos I’ve taken that have lead to amazing opportunities to work for great brands.

Lifestyle, Food and Drink & our Island.

So here’s to 2025.

where I will once again, pledge to shoot for work and for pleasure 🤝🏻

God bless and prosper you all ❤️

I always take a moment to reflect on how fortunate I am to work in a industry I love. This time of year a lot of people think and reflect, make changes and plans. Yea I’ll be doing the same but for now I’m filled with a lot of gratitude. It’s been a great year ❤️

In no particular order, here’s some of my favourite content I’ve made this year! 2024 you’ve been good to me 🔥📈 here’s to 2025

What happens when you add Wight Whiskey to your Christmas pudding 🎄🔥

Ok so I’ll admit we may have added a touch more than we meant to, 20% of the bottle 😅 but despite that, it was unbelievably delicious. It came with a kick but was rich, spicy and delicious. I can not wait to do this again on Christmas Day. Mixed with some double cream, it felt like a pudding and a cocktail all in one.

Thanks again for the goods, upgrade your Christmas this year by getting yourself a bottle 🥃

The easiest way to LEVEL up your Christmas dinner this year is quite simply, to level up your produce.

If you're anything like me, and the idea of bringing a fantastic Christmas meal to your family gets you giddy, then you should be sure to make your go-to local ingredient. Let's start with the cauliflower cheese and upgrade it to the Briddlesford & Harvey Browns 3 Cheese Cauliflower Delight.

How to Cook the 3 Cheese Cauliflower Delight:

Prepare the Cauliflower:
Cut a fresh, local cauliflower into florets and blanch them in boiling water for 5–6 minutes, until just tender. Drain and set aside.
Make the Cheese Sauce:
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat, stir in flour, and cook for 2–3 minutes to create a roux.
Gradually add milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps, and let it simmer until thickened.

Assemble the Dish:
Place the cauliflower florets into a baking dish and pour the cheese sauce over the top.
Sprinkle your cheeses—mature cheddar, Red Leicester, and Gouda from Briddlesford and Harvey Browns—over the sauce to cover evenly.

Bake:
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes, or until bubbling and golden on top.
This rich and creamy three-cheese cauliflower will steal the show at your Christmas dinner. It’s the ultimate comfort food and a delicious way to showcase local Isle of Wight ingredients. Your family will be begging for seconds! 🎄

Save this post for your Christmas Day cooking!

My Journey, telling your story is my passion.

My name is Reuben Mowle, I am a film maker, Photographer, Entrepreneur & Musician.

I am 25 years old. I’ve had an interesting journey in my career so far.

I started as a musician studying with Chichester uni learning about commercial music, at uni I performed and recorded music with several different projects. My band and I needed a music video, but as students we were on a shoe string budget. So after having a bit of experience with creating and editing memes on the internet (Not my proudest moment) I decided to give creating a music video a go.

At the time I thought the music video I had made was the best thing since sliced bread. But looking back it was pretty bad. But it fired up a passion inside of my for making films.
