🌟 Why I’ve been a bit quiet lately…🌟

As a social media manager, you might be thinking, ‘Shouldn’t you be posting all the time?’ And your absolutely right! But here’s the thing - I always put my clients first 💻

With my due date fast approaching, my focus has been on balancing work, my health, and preparing for this exciting new chapter ❤️

A couple of weeks ago, I received a call I’d been dreading - I’ve been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. This has meant weekly hospital visits, constant monitoring and navigating lots of new information. It’s been overwhelming but I’m taking it one step at a time 💪🏻

Despite the challenges, I’m still very much in action and here for my clients! 🙌🏻 I even have a few slots left in December for content days - perfect if you need help capturing footage to use over the festive period to keep your socials consistent 🎄 📸

On a brighter note, this pregancy has been even more special because I’ve had the chance to share it with my sister. Robyn Walters - Recruitment Expert 💓 Watching her journey through her first pregnancy has been magical, and I can’t wait to meet my nephew soon and become and auntie for the first time! 👶🏻 💙

There’s a lot happening, but I’m so grateful for all of it - the challenges, the joys, and the journey. 🌟

I had an absolute fab day yesterday grabbing content for James at 📸🙌🏻 it was a bit of a wet one to start and a very dirty one 😂

It was great to see the process of a roof clean, the before and the aftermath was incredible too ✨💫 and we got some great footage a mix of both photos and video footage.

I had an amazing day on Thursday 📅 with my client & her team .newport 💅🏻 💄

They are really good at taking photos of their main service but struggle with 🎥 video footage and footage of other services due to being such a busy salon.

We have now decided to incorporate content days with myself every 2/3 months to grab lots of photos and videos of services which don’t get shown enough!

It was incredible to see how excited they were on Thursday to get content because we planned out 2/3 hours of the working day to give us enough time ⏰

I know the feeling! 🙈

Sometimes there is just not enough hours in the day to sit down and think of new content for every single post!

And that’s ok 👌🏻 Did you know that only 20% of your followers actually see your posts.

Which is why you should be working smarter not harder and REPURPOSING your content.

Turn your top performing posts into a different format of content…..for example: if your top performing post is a reel take this information and change it into a static post or a carousel 🌟

Working with a social media manager is a team effort 💪🏻✨

Remember this is your business so without providing the SMM with the tools they need to market who you are, what you do etc, its going to be near enough impossible to distinguish you from others in the industry!

Although we take away the pressure of having to take time out of your working day ⏰ to be creative and not have to worry about your online presence we still need your involvement 🙌🏻

Stop doing these FOUR things on your Instagram! ❌

These things could be causing harm to your Instagram account and stopping you from achieving the online presence you’re looking for and deserve! 🤷🏻‍♀️

You may have excellent content but if your doing these things your ideal audience aren’t going to benefit from it and it will also be a waste of your time ⏰
