Julian Scott Associates Producer and Executive Producer, consultant to Film London. Prior to starting the consultancy the company proncipal, Julian Scott, ran Coolabi Productions Ltd.

During his time at Coolabi he developed, financed and oversaw production of animation and live action for pre-school, school age and family audiences. All the shows were internationally financed and co-produced with partners across the globe.

Our Story

Julian Scott is a BAFTA nominated Executive Producer and media consultant. He has been developing, financing and co-producing television in the international arena for over 20 years. Working his way up through the production ranks, starting as a third assistant director Julian has acted as location manager, first assistant director, post-production supervisor and line producer on numerous series based in the UK and filmed abroad. He was introduced to the global market when he became Director of International Production for LA based Walt Disney International Television in the late 90’s; overseeing 33 branded shows across the globe. Subsequent roles as Vice President, Creative Development and Group Vice President of European Operations at Sesame Workshop in New York and then London fine-tuned his skills. In the last few years, based back in the UK, he has overseen the development, financing and production of over 200 hours of internationally successful series and films and help numerous organisation realise their creative and commercial potential.

He prides himself on two main areas of work:

· Spotting strong IP which is both commercially viable and creatively unique, taking the concept through all stages of its gestation. Working with the best creative and production talent with partners to deliver high quality, engaging stories, on time and on budget.
