It would be very out of character to waddle through a whole day without stoping by

Truth be told

Today is one of those days my creative side could do with a little nudge. Not for the lack of it but because , other equally important things took priority today

But I still wanted to stop by and say hello and how are you?

Oh yes! something just came to my mind now. The day I took this picture, it was drizzling. So I thought , how do I waltz around in this rain and giggle freely without people juďgıng me “a s!!!y adult”😅

So I took the pic , told my cam buddy to wait in the car and give me a minute. I just leaned on that car hood for a few minutes and let it rain . I didn’t run around .

It’s one thing walking a new path on your own. It’s another , when you walk same path with the surest company

It gives me peace now knowing that they’re in same place now. Rebecca is very doting and very protective of her. So I know Naomi will be alright. Rebecca has made a name for herself in the school too . So I think of her as a forerunner for her.

Judging by how little Aunty was moving around like an OG yesterday soon as her sister came out.and her sister beamed when she saw that I’ve picked Naomi up from her class already.

I Kept the best for last. And it’s not really Becky and m Naomi’s show really, if it has no account of this new beginning

“Leave the phone and receive these words while it’s being said ” was what that voice said to me

Let me tell you about something profound I experienced last evening

You see, after braiding Naomi’s hair around past 3 from 12pm, I drove out immediately to buy some stuff we needed. Got home and started Becky’s immediately. It was very busy for me from the moment I woke up till around past 9. But …

Whilst I was braiding the last braid on Rebecca , I said to her “it’s done now mama. Just wouldn’t have been happy if I don’t do yours too today ”

Then the words came “ ohhhh that’s why you keep asking if I’m alright?

I told her “yes. I didn’t want to make you too tired but needed you good too”

“ it’s alright mummy. I would have been fine Mummy. You. You’re so kind. I think you really really should rest. You should just sit down. I can’t wait to grow to do things for you “

And then something switched and my daughter’s words to me became a prayer. No she didn’t close her eyes or mimick typical prayer posture. She was just speaking but something changed…

“Heaven will protect you. You know how to do everything. You will succeed in everything. You’re best at everything. God Will help you the way you help eveyone. God will make me to be good like you.…

I reached for my phone immediately because, how?! I wanted a physical evidence to say”listen”! My 6 year old daughter said words I can only hope to hear from an adult but then , that voice spoke

I realised Heavēn was speaking to me. To me ! At that moment !

My phone may cut it short. I may not embrace it fully. So I left my phone untouched . Then I began to say Amen to every pause . I said Amen . My heart was saying Amen non stop alongside my lips

I know something switched…. If I wrote all the words verbatim as they were said to me , even you won’t believe it … so I leave you with only ones she said that are akin to the voice of a child …

I write now because I want to reach out to you that’s out there doing your best. I share my moment with you . I’m saying, Heaven will protect you . You’re best at everything you do.

She’ll officially start nursery tomorrow . Not the “go and eat and p**p and sleep” kind of nursery.

CHINNY and HER GIRLS ♥️

I was the mini MC at a friend’s event yesterday but I was also a mother and A guest with her babies

The day in a nutshell

1. At every turn, Naomi has found another Lady that either wants to take her with her or a lady that has chosen her to be her future daughter-in-law. That’s how I was running heluta skeluta from those that want me to do the final picking for who she belongs to 🤧

2. Rebecca was 40% with other kids and 60% striking up conversations with reserved adults that are not quite ready to mingle around .

The questions were same from most- “ oh my goodness, how old is she again “?
-Is that your daughter? She’s a very smart gorgeous girl

3- Then to the main job which is the other 50% why I was in attendance really. And why I wasn’t here with you yesterday. MC

Shy as I might be in real life, I can’t stand quiet or dull parties. Best believe we had fun yesterday.

Got everyone up and on their feet.

We danced !
We laughed!
We played games, sack race, egg and spoon race …
We danced some more till I declared that I must take my leave. I’m a married woman after all. Need to go finish up my day’s duty by wifying up my King.

But …. I missed you all too

Do you like our outfit? Thought to keep my own simple. As for the girls…I think they love theirs
