Help me and sing praise that I didn’t turn to yam on the 27th of December

In fact , if I were still in Naija, I’ll be turning to yam and chewing gum every Eke market day

You might be wondering what really happened …

On that fateful day, that’s how I heard kpom kpom on my door. The girls shouts out to me that someone’s at the door .

Brethren and Sisthren, I opened the door and there’s no one at the door. But … as I look down , I see a bag of food…

Abacha, Nkwobi, fruit salad topped with nuts, onugbu soup echetaram evhetaghim oh sorry ectcetra

That’s how I started Enugu people’s traditional dance . Ukwu ruru m ala (my waist was doing the jiggly dance well well and now that I think about it, I no been know how to dance it before).

I was even singing “dem say dem say , the blessings wey you do na ojoro” 🤭

But who dropped the food now? I don’t know and right then , I didn’t care 🤭🥴🤣🤣

If I must be yam today, I will gladly turn to yam

Catcham before this Gyal sp0ils my supingi figure 8. If you’ve seen my jiggly fupa in real life , mind your business 😂

Nicky cooked Ofe akwu, white rice and stew , jollof rice , spaghetti bolognaise, Beans, fried sweet potatoes , basket of fried meat on standby (I was just withdrawing this one like rat), her Odogwu now stepped into the kitchen and dropped one pot of well spiced assorted meat peppersoup .

Before I could burp , Suya don land with proper Aboki suya spice. I forgot to ask him if they lived with an aboki in their compd when he was younger 😩

All these in 24hours. Nobody, absolutely nobody, came to my rescue. The tantalising dishes were everywhere calling my name anyhow . I tried to boss up and say “I’m on mission 6 packs “ . It didn’t work. I promise I tried

So , I comot belt from my trouser and gave honor to whom it was due. I ate every single food and thanked each plate for liking me enough to come to my front on the dining table. I’m a well mannered gal!

Pardon me for not having any pictures of myself . There’s something called priority. Taking care of those plates and making sure they entered my tummy properly, made me forget tha I was a content creator.

You may probably know that my brother and his family including our new baby (JJ) spent the Christmas with us

Suddenly , nobody wants to be a baby anymore in my house because, being a big sister became the most important role.

Naomi kissed Baby JJ so much so that it’s a surprise there isn’t a kiss hole on his face 😩

Rebecca? Don’t get me started . She wanted to carry him every nansecond. Infact she and JJ have random meetings where she does all the talking and JJ coos and babbles at her 😂

They invited me once to that meeting. Eye begin turn me. I needed to do a lot of jumping, singing and clapping but really well worth it cos it earns you a smile from baby JJ
