Kate Winslet turns 49 today.

The Hollywood A-lister, who won a Best Actress Academy Award in 2008 for her performance in The Reader, has starred in numerous major films including Titanic, Sense and Sensibility, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Revolutionary Road.

Promoting her new film Lee, which tells the story of World War Two photographer Elizabeth 'Lee' Miller, Winslet told the BBC: "(women should celebrate) being a real shape, being soft and maybe having a few extra rolls.

“We’re so used to perhaps not necessarily seeing that and enjoying it. The instinct weirdly is to see it and criticise it.

“It’s interesting how much people do like labels for women.

“Life is too short. I don’t want to look back and go 'why did I worry about that thing' and so guess what - I don’t worry anymore.”

You can style them with an on trend waistcoat or add a simple vest top with a denim Jacket.

To transition your skirt to Autumn yes I know it's only summer however to can still get wear out of them by just adding ankle boots or cowboy boots a t-shirt and a leather jacket for your Autumnal look ❤️

Loving this dress from brand which I only came across a few weeks ago, found this White Broderie Anglaise Tiered Mini Dress which is a keeper as it's so cute. Perfect 100% cotton dress for those like me going through the menopause ❤

So decided to style it with my brown suede side tassel ankle boots I bought in the sale from next this year felt the outfit was perfect for a mediterranean dining out night, think I'm still in holiday mode 🙂

It's a fabulous dress with a touch of Linen, (perfect material for those like me going through the menopause ) in a beautiful printed colour, with a square neckline that flatters along with a short puff sleeves, great if you want a little bit of arm coverage and finished with a feminine split skirt design you won't be disappointed. 😍

Don't know about you.. but it's a tough month January for small independent businesses, in order to turn it around we do lots of planning to prepare for the coming months in business, so it seems fitting to start by reintroducing ourself so here goes 👇❤️

Hi I'm Nichola English qualified Personal Style & Confident Coach as well as a Life Coach. Im a member of international association of style coaches ( MIASC) and my background is in fashion as a Store Manger, which I left many moons ago due to a disability that would change my life not all go and still affects me now.

I have two Businesses "The Wardrobe Provocateur" which is all about helping my clients find there authentic self though styling, personal shopping and self confidence and gift services I set up a few years ago as way to allow my creative side to flushes.

I decided to set up my first business the styling one in the wake of rehabilitation as I needed to focus on something postive, during that time I learnt my styling craft, wrote a confidence e-book called "Boost Your Confidence" did a counseling course at college as well as Life Coaching certified course, create sold out workshops, did radio shows, wrote styling and confidence monthly articles for 2yrs for a successful online magazine as well working on professional business photo shoots 📸

Then a few years ago I decided it was time to develop my creative side and I set up Darling Ginger Designs with our aim & mission being to create gifts and gift boxes filled with positiveness, happiness, and fun gift experiences that you'll love. We try to be sustainable, recycled, fair-trade when possible and use local independent businesses or companies who are ethical and fair-trade. We have an array of fabulous gifts from T-Shirts, makeup bags, candles, motivational shopping bags, coasters and crocheted hearts and animal key rings, bamboo socks, mugs with fun prints, ceramic keep sakes as well pampering products- wow I forget how far we've come with our gifts 🤩
