I am actually tearful posting this because I know there’s so many of you out there going through the same. You’re not alone.

I started MY journey on January 1st at 13 stone 7. Unfit, depressed, miserable, couldn’t fit anything, felt Victoria's Secretely under the spell of crappy comfort food, out of breath, high blood pressure, acid reflux, bloated, worsening joint pains and fed up!

I’m going through the menopause and the weight gain they mention (is real) by the way. Not for everyone, but I’d guess for most of us. The bulging tummy practically grew on me over night and I let it as I comforted myself with more ice cream.

I haven’t changed at all on the scales since the middle of February. I am maintaining at 12 stone 5 but there’s definitely something happening to my body and I should have taken measurements but I didn’t.

I do a fitness class three times per week although I have not turned up a few times now. I need to be more consistent. I do aquafit as much as I can, it’s my happy place. I also have been trying Pilates and yoga. Although I’ve only done 3 Pilates classes and 3 yoga I love it!!! Just wish I was a bendy Wendy 🤣🤣

I decided my goal is to be strong and healthy whatever that ends up looking like for me at 43 😁🩷

Thank you for everyone’s support and friendship on here. I love sharing my journey with you and will continue to do so for those that are interested.
