VISRA was the name that came to be after founding HELLBOURNE, the event formed on the premise that it would be for alternative audiences who also indulged in darker, harder dance music. Since the decline of the industrial music events in Newcastle-upon-Tyne for many years, he was determined to run this event.
HELLBOURNE eventually evolved into a Hardcore x Drum 'n' Bass and Techno event - Expan
ding into breakcore, jungle and J-core sub-genres. INSURGENCE caters more towards the alternative/electronic audience
with a fresh take on alternative electronic nights, including cyberpunk-midtempo along with retro-synthwave and techno body music.
NIGHTBREED came to fill the void in the goth community in the city. A one-night only proved to be successful and thus decided to run from quarterly to now monthly nights which started at Prohibition Cabaret Bar, now based in the familar alternative venue - The Globe. Playing the best of classic Goth-rock, Post-Punk and contemparary darkwave. It is hosted by both Visra and Angel Vampire.

VISRA was a guest DJ at Beat:Cancer's Karkasaurus tour featuring tribal industrial/rythmic noise heavyweight i:Vardensphere, alongside DJ's Gilly Woo and Zombie Chris
Also hosted an unofficial afterparty at Infest Festival with Nemeshade and Kohl.
