May the fourth be with you…
We couldn’t resist sharing some of our Star Wars related titles this May 4th.
Its National Earth Day.
National Earth Day was created to promote the education of key climate issues - from climate change, to air pollution to recycling - so we're taking a moment to share some of the important research CSP authors and editors have undertaken to add to these fields of knowledge.
To read more about these titles, and more, head to our website www.cambridgescholars.com. Alongside all of our academic work in these areas, you can read what CSP is doing to limit its affect on our environment in our Sustainability Statement.

In our final installation of The History of CSP, we take a look at how the Lady Stephenson Library sadly fell out of public use and how it became our beloved headquarters,
In December 1901, at the age of 67, Eliza died, “somewhat suddenly and unexpectedly” according to her obituary. William and Eliza had been married for almost 40 years. She was survived by her two daughters, Charlotte and Kate, who continued their parents’ good works, endowing a children’s TB ward at the City Hospital, amongst other things.
In 1908, Sir William commissioned the Lady Stephenson Library in Walker, in honour of his late wife; the last of his library benefactions to the City. This ran as a public library until its closure by Newcastle Council in 2013.
In 2014, Cambridge Scholars Publishing acquired the then empty Library and restored it to, once again, to a library of knowledge.

Happy New Year from all of us here at Cambridge Scholars Publishing!
As we prepare to move into 2022, we're looking back on the bestsellers of 2021.
Beginning with Gitte Bechsgaard and Gillian McCann’s widely-praised ‘Yoga and Alignment: From the Upanishads to B.K.S. Iyengar’, this lively and accessible title follows the model of the eight limbs of yoga to engage authors, while masterfully combining elements of philosophy, meditation and psychology.
“In the first volume of its kind, The Psychology of Pandemics addresses the role of psychological factors in understanding pandemics and preventing the spread of infection…A true must-read!”. Dr Steven Taylor’s timely 2019 work, The Psychology of Pandemics, described by The Guardian as “a Lonely Planet guide to the pandemic”, was an omen of times to come and, two years later, is still a CSP best seller.
‘From the Ancient Near East to Christian Byzantium: Kings, Symbols, and Cities’ combines concepts from the history of religions with Byzantine studies in its assessments of kings, symbols, and cities in a diachronic and cross-cultural analysis. With numerous positive reviews it’s no wonder the paperback edition is on its way…
One of the most important events in the recent history of the Jewish people prior to the Holocaust, ‘The Serendipitous Evolution of the Balfour Declaration of November 2, 1917 presents an all-inclusive understanding of the complex geopolitical elements that shaped the facts on the ground in the Middle East. At the age of 88, this book is Dr Goldstein's first publication, having received his PhD from Ariel University, Israel, in 2020.
The book, adapted from his PhD thesis with the help of co-author Eyal Lewin, is not only the culmination of years of painstaking archival research, but represents a life's dedication to ensuring that the horrific oppression of the Jewish people is never again repeated.
Last, but certainly not least, Rico Sneller's 'Perspectives on Synchronicity, Inspiration, and the Soul' explores the notion of the huma

This December we celebrate our 20th year publishing - it's been busy but we wouldn't have it any other way.
🎉🎉 It's our Birthday! 🎉🎉
Today marks 20 years since our founders were inspired to create a publishing house which prized itself on the variety of voices and titles, rather than rejection rates. We've had two decades of championing voices and doing our bit to contribute to the global economy of knowledge and we're ready for the next twenty.
So thank you to each and every one of our authors, editors, contributors, readers and supporters - its because of your that CSP is CSP.
