Unfortunately I’ve had to cancel tonight’s gig at the bridge, I was so looking forward to it, a new venue I haven’t sang at before always is exciting, but I’ve ended up not feeling too good and been admitted into hospital. 😔

✨Oct. 2009✨Trip down memory lane…
I was just turning 18 years old and bagged my first job DJing at the golden lion pub in Jarrow doing the disco and karaoke on a Friday night, back then all the music was played through a computer, using the keyboard to seach for the track! This was the only way to get the songs up! 😂 Wow how times have changed, evening though I still class my self as an old schooler, I don’t miss this basic technology at all!

I was there for a year or so, seeing it changed hands on a few occasions, unfortunately one of the last owner Colin is sadly not with us anymore, had some great nights including with paul too! So many fun memories, it wouldn’t of been the same without a owner like Colin, always giving the same song on the karaoke “diet coke and a pizza please! Big girls you are beautiful”

such a small world too, After his passing I found out he was a career to my cousin and regularly used to pick him and take him out in wheelchair for the day - ❤️🙏✨

Felt a little shabby that night meeting the fabulous sherry Holley niece of the one and only buddy holly, it was a great experience watching her and the boldly holly band play! Thank you for entertaining us, your all amazing! And thank you to the Forest Hall Constitutional & Unionist Club for putting on such an amazing event! 🤩 ✨
