April 2016 marked a milestone moment for Phil Davies Managing Director of Downcast Studios Ltd based in Gateshead & also the drummer for NWOBHM band “MYTHRA”. The opportunity came about to purchase Base HQ and expand Downcast Studios, a dream come true to be the owner of two studios and within 2 miles of each other, but on either side of the Tyne. But the sole objective remaining the same and to

offer commercial top quality recording studio with practice rooms and to offer a personal service at competitive rates. Based beside Newcastle Central Station/A1 motorway, with our own free parking, the fully equipped, acoustically designed studios and practice rooms are open to everyone. We understand that all our customers needs are different so there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. From a basic recording to a fully produced album, composition to voice over or even live video recording, we can help.
