Our ten week songwriting and music production course, in partnership with , offers a chance to get hands on experience in real life professional studio environments, and learn new skills from industry professionals. We offer introductory, intermediate and advanced level programmes.

For our introductory level courses there’s no previous experience necessary - just a desire to start making tracks 🔥

The Advanced Level course - is for people with previous experience of music production (and graduates of our Intermediate programme) to get experience working on professional recording, mixing and production projects

AND… we’re excited to say that, from Sept 2023, we have a new Advanced Level course - for people with previous experience of music production (and for graduates of our Intermediate programme) to get experience working on professional recording, mixing and production projects in a pro studio.

it might seem a bit weird to start a year of brand new releases by releasing a song we've played for years, but it made sense to me. i really wanted a missing out in the world that felt like who we are now, and now we can start sharing the rest.

this song would not be here if it weren't for a few very special people. first off Ryan - my right hand man, my nonsense prince. love you pal. thank you for being the best friend/bandmate in the world. surprise! here are the lost songs - songs I’ve written over the past three years that have fallen down the gaps. I never really intended these sad soft songs to see the light of day, but coming towards the end of another year I thought it might be nice to share them now, as a gentle winter gift before we draw a line under the year and start fresh in 2022. as some of you know, I’ve had to shield for a lot of the past two years, which is where this project started, in isolation. every part of this project I’ve done by myself - writing, playing, recording, mixing, mastering, even the artwork - and I’m really proud of that. I hope that in listening you might find some of the joy, peace or escape that I found in making it.

we’ll be back in 2022 with our regularly scheduled noise and nonsense - full band releases and shows that I can’t wait to share with you, but until then I hope these lost songs wrap you up and keep you warm. curl up with your headphones and a mug of something nice, and feel some things with me.

What's it about?...
In November 2020, Lisa Murphy - a music producer and teacher based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the northeast of England - led a 6-month project titled ‘Women in Music Production’.
The intention of this project was to support more women into work as music producers, an area of the music industry in which they are under-represented currently.

This is the story of the project from the perspective of those involved. We hope that this mini-documentary is a positive insight into the journey of these music producers, and acts as an inspiration to anyone wanting to pursue a career in music production, regardless of their gender.

This project was made possible using public funding from Arts Council England and The National Lottery.
