Here's how it works: Grab your tickets via the link in bio, arrive at our soon-to-be-revealed venue in Newcastle City Centre, and get ready for a night of excitement and potential sparks! Registration is a breeze - no bios or profile pics needed. Just bring yourself, your doubles partner and your willingness to connect (and maybe the odd chat up line).
Once inside, take a seat, sip on a drink, and let the magic unfold. Pairs of men will rotate around while the women stay seated, each date lasting around 5 minutes. Keep track of your matches using our ingenious system, and if the feeling's mutual, we'll exchange contact info the next day.

Thank you to the 80 double daters who came down to Bar Loco this Valentine's Day for 18-25yrs Speed Dates. This event was our most matched event of all time, with an average of 6 matches per pair. If you want to attend this category in March, we're running an event on Thursday 7th March for 18-25yrs at 7.30pm (Venue TBD)
Many people ask if this is a Doubles event, and technically it isn't - though most people do attend with friends and either sit together (women) or go around the circuit together (men).
