Hi everyone!
We hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the festive season. We just wanted to touch base with you guys about Hex and its future. As you can probably already see, the page has been quite quiet as of late.
Both myself and Thorn work full time, and also have our own respective businesses that take up most of our time. Whilst we try to set as much time aside as possible to approach brands, search for castings, promote and so on, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to manage with our everyday lives. As I’m sure you can understand, our businesses which are our main source of income have to come first, and so it makes it increasingly difficult to balance everything.
With that being said, we’ve had a good ol chat about the future of Hex, and we’ve unfortunately come to the conclusion that we unfortunately just cannot continue to try and juggle Hex with our daily lives, and in turn potentially do it a disservice. We both absolutely love Hex and all you lovely lot, and we’ve had some amazing experiences come through from Cyberdog to music videos for some awesome U.S. bands. If we had the capacity to, we would absolutely keep this running, but we just can’t juggle this many things at one time.
We’re so grateful to have each and every one of you be a part of it, and we’ve made some firm friends because of it! We can absolutely keep up the group chat if people would just like it to share jobs, banter etc. We’re both sure that we’ll see you all in the near future at events and jobs etc. however until then, it’s a good goodbye to Hex Collective.
