New mix for promise

Next up is an original, main room Promise resident who graced the Foundation decks; setting the scene for many a monumental night. Tony Hutchinson has been Djing for over 35 years, from the breaking of electro and the dawn of house music right up to the current day. A proper local star!

Tony has played all over the world along side some of the worlds biggest names. He’s DJ’d at loads of major, worldwide parties and events such as Ultra Music Festival in the USA and Creamfields in the UK - and what a party THAT was (representing Promise, no less!)

Tony has a Saturday night residency in Colonel Porters in Newcastle (his spiritual home) and continues to play alongside the biggest names in the business and is still as passionate about his craft today as he has always been. When ever a global name or brand comes to town, Tony is always the first name they ask for to join their events. He’s absolutely top of the tree and top of his game!

Tony presents his weekly show on Method Radio, Tony Hutchinson’s T-Party. Showcasing up and coming releases and new artists whilst expressing his love for his current faverite tracks.

We’re buzzing to have Tony back playing for Promise at Cosmic Ballroom on November 26th. He’s bring a twisted, pounding house sound that has his name written all over it! He’s recorded a special mix for us and you can check it out below…

Did you know back in the day, Master Brewer Colonel Porter teamed up with Chief Chemist Archie Jones to create Newcastle Brown Ale. Master brewing ran in Colonel Porter’s family. It was written in the stars and in this Emporium we celebrate this fine feat and enjoy Newcastle Brown Ale in its traditional form.
