Just wanted to share a little anthology short called Saturday Frights at the Movies I directed a segment of, as well as co-directing the wraparound film. The film was made as part of the Newcastle Film Club B movie challenge, and is a set of 1950s style sci fi films. My co-directors were Paul Doherty and Alex Challies. Very pleased to announce that my latest micro short film, Capture, has been selected by Sunderland Shorts Film Festival and Tees Valley International Film Festival. Massive thanks to the very talented Sarah Seymour for agreeing to act in it, and to Paul Doherty and young Aaron Ridley for crewing it on very short notice!

So excited that my micro short horror film, Inhabit, has somehow got into the FrightFest Short Film Showcase presented by CenterFrame. Frightfest is a prestigious horror film event and there are so many brilliant films on there, as well as the fact it’s on in Cineworld, Leicester Square, so I’m honestly amazed and thrilled to be a part of the event!

Thrilled to have won Best Fantasy Film at Oregon Short Film Festival, to be a finalist at Metropolis Film Festival and to be an Official Selection at Big Teeth Small Shorts Film Festival and Stockholm City Film Festival.

We made another little film! Cohabit, a horror comedy short was made as part of the Newcastle Film Club Monologue Challenge 2023. The rules were that the film must be under 2 minutes (excluding credits) and must be shot in one take. Thanks to all the cast and crew for making it with me!

So pleased to have won Best Upcoming Film at Northern Festival of Cinema last night! It was a great event with a load of amazing films, so I was shocked to take a prize home. Also really great to meet so many lovely, talented filmmakers there. Special thanks to Newcastle Film Club, who I’ll be eternally grateful to for getting me in gear to make this, and to The Little Buildings for hosting the event. Big shout out to The Almanax, who provided some great music!
