A multi-generational farming family will hand over pre-loved farming toys to the Treasury with a message to Chancellor Rachel Reeves—a symbolic gesture from the children of Britain’s farming families who are being denied a future in the industry.

NFU and NFU Cymru members are being asked to donate their pre-loved toy tractor to bring to life the effect of the government’s proposed inheritance tax changes on all farming generations at a display at the NFU Conference.

It is the third time since the Autumn Budget that anxious farmers have converged on the capital to send a direct message to Sir Keir Starmer’s government and to communicate their message.

Our sales manager Bernie had a fantastic time out at the Dairy-Tech UK show yesterday, connecting with businesses and readers alike! 🤝

She had some great conversations, including meeting sisters Evie and Erin, and brothers William and Mike from Ashbourne Young Farmers Club. She also enjoyed chatting to James Ball of Ball of Madley Ltd, as well as the wonderful teams from Minshall Construction and IAE1969.

A big thank you to everyone who came to the show. It's great to see so many passionate people in the industry!
